instead of being judgmental about others behaviors if you feel that there is too much negativity then maybe you should leave...or even try this novel concept ADD SOMETHING POSITIVE TO A PARTY...stop ting on the stuff that makes this scene what it is...FUN!!!... by being judgmental and further negative you only screw things up for yourself even more by being so...

nice post man..i agree 100% im there to have a good time as well i jus made a critiscism of something for no reason and now i just realized that haha cuz honestly it didnt bother me cuz i kinda was a crackhead that night also hahaha so i mean its kinda contradicting to say that..blah stupid thingiesss make me think crazy day after..oh well |

Great party i had a great time. For those of you that got to spirit early, Miller was pretty damn good as well! Lawler got the party going fast at 2am he was GREAT! Got me dancing on the speaker by the bar and smoking area (no shirt on). Loved his music. Any1 know what the A-B-C-D-E (alphabet) song he played is called ??
I also liked where the DJ booth was placed, got the DJ closer to the crowed. Crowed was better than some other times.
Overall 9/10 for me ;) |

finally alive and well and back in chi-town.
had an awesome night at lawler!! he threw down a sick set - at times i didn't think he could go any darker, but he did - the way he can take the music darker is just beyond me. i have to agree - the crowd at spirit sucked - this big white dude with his shirt off kept trying to talk to me and i was like "get the away from me - you're all hot and sweaty and GROSS!"
the netting definitely made the atmosphere perfect for lawler's style of dark and dirty house - made it seem very intimate. when lawler spins, the club has to be dark in order to match his music.
i had a great time meeting everyone - can't remember everyone (brianna, vtec junkie, brian, mindy) - and special thanks to vernon and sal - thanks for taking care of me and making sure i wasn't a wandering idiot while in nyc!!!
d&g girl and myself are planning on coming back to nyc next month for sander and nic - since i only got to hear about 3 tracks from sander. the opening dj - bill patrick - threw down a solid opening set. you guys in nyc are lucky to have such great parties! |
