Today I'm slightly addicted to prog, but I love chillout as well. See my Audioscrobbler: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/user/Lionhead/

I find prog a heck of alot more repetitive than any of the trance I like (not saying trance isn't, but the stuff I listen to I don't believe is).

Kinda why I can't get into prog, doesnt have anything that keeps me interested, whereas house/breaks/trance do.
placebo
I listen to every genre. Except Country. Country music sucks.

Incase you haven't noticed, this forum has been open since August 2000. 5 years is a long time, and music tastes change over time. So it shouldn't come across as a huge surprise that there are some people who don't really listen to Trance anymore, but still use the forum as a place to communicate with others.

Attention spans vary, some people get bored of stuff quicker than others.

not seen many threads have we?

this is considerably more 'not stupid' than most posts in COR :p

I thought the saying was 'take's one to know one', but I guess that doesnt always apply :D

Talk about close minded...

i still love trance. i went on a big prog/electro/funky house kick for a while where i wasn't listening to any trance, but now i think i like trance even more than i did before. i'd say i like trance and house pretty equally, and i like prog stuff as long as it keeps my attention. some prog is too slow and boring for me, and i tend to lose interest too quickly.

i would never enjoy listening to one genre of music exclusively. it's good to have variety and balance out different styles. anyone who has ever seen my CD collection will know i'm all about variety.
