How about that?

He's judging someone partly based on the fact that they have G&D listed as their favorite DJ or Producer. And because of that fact this guy is to not be taken seriously. If you can't find anything IGNORANT about that then YOU must be blind.

And I seriously don't have to defend my opinion of Shawn Mitiska because #1 he doesn't need to be defended and #2 he has nothing to do with anything that is being discussed.

it! Why did I even get involved? It's just getting so annoying seeing idiotic s trying to tear apart music and the fans within it. It's truly sad.

Thank you, you just summed up the point of music. I'm glad SOMEONE gets it.

This track blows. :whip:

Tiesto's made better stuff lately as "Allure" than this.

Allure is a combination of 2 songs that Tiesto put together so in a way he didnt come up with anything by himself unlike PVD with The Other Side

Thread after thread you prove more and more to me that you are EXACTLY the type of person that is turning these forums to and contributing to the deconstruction of what music stands for.

You are probably one of the biggest elitists on these boards and it sickens me. I can't stand your blind and ignorant logic most of the time...

DJ Mikey Mike is right.

This track is rubbish, and i think most people that have been listening to trance for a while now can see this.

I don't think he is an elitist. I just think he appreciates quality and innovation in music, which is why he may feel the need to criticise tracks that are poorly produced, lack innovation, rip off other ideas or are just plain boring.

I am inclined to agree with him most of the time.....

Of course.

People who don't have the background to discriminate their tastes will be unable to see this, and mistake it for simple bigotry.

It is an "ok" tune, nothing amazing, however PvD HAS produced a LOT better than tracks like the Other Side (Like Mike and Lam had said). I can still party/dance to it but if he comes out with another similarly sounding tune as the Other side or "TOOL" I will shoot myself...ever hear of such a thing as overkill? :( I'm a huge PvD fan but c'mon...

At first i completely didn't like this track. Mayby only one nice phrase from vocals. But from the time i heard it life at LFA i started to like this track more and more...it just grew up on me :)

Beside this, i think it is average production. But it's not crap in compare to most of trance produced nowadays.
Rainborn
Every time a track is produced, it becomes more difficult to produce another.
Melodies don't last forever, and melodies are the most important parts of the song, if you ask me. It's the bit that makes the track unique.

You're probably gonna have to get used to worse melodies than before, with exceptions of a few.

ALTHOUGH, some producers/tracks brings new ingredients to the world.
I'd like to point out Space Guitar (Mostly LNQ remix) a sweet track that brought new ingredients to the trance scene.

Remixing tracks from other genres is a good way too.

Please dont hate me for saying this, but that's just my theory.

The Martin Roth mix does it for me, incredible. Sounds great loud.

Havent heard the Deep Dish mix but their music isnt for me anyway

IKKI-ZUVK
I've only heard the original and deep dish remix... well all I have to say, is that I DO like them both!!!
It's just hilarious to see some many people complaining of how bad this track is, when they cannot even produce a decent fart!

Cheers

Heard the PVD mix for the first time saturday night at Energy. This tune is sooooo annoying...I mean , how many time should I stopped to dance with all theses breaks in there. I thought it will never end, bleh :nervous:
