| Understandable. But I cant stop myself from dancing so I dont think anywhere else would work too well for me. This year we are looking to get a VIP section but I can still almost garuntee 80% of my time is gonna be spent on the main floor. :p |

well that was Ikon...and us NYTAs were ALL TOGETHER dancing wildly and celebrating the coming of the New Year...soo funnn...and that SHOW was AWESOME before that incident -- which could not have been predicted beforehand...there have been fights at reg parties, just so happened it was Ikon so it was far worse -=X That Xpander moment is ingrained within me forever and in tons of vids too :D :D
Anyway another example of a wellpriced NYE partay was Sasha and Digweed (broadcasting from LA) that was about $65 presale at Avalon the yr before...that was worth it also :D for some reason only Tiesto NYE shows are $100+. hey Jon O Bir is soo excellent that if he spun the FULL 4 to 6 hr set he is soo in good well hey who knows what i would pay for NYE but def NOT $100.
dont worry though...IKON is pretty much dead. I doubt ANY ONE would go to IKON again given what happened last NYE. i dont think Godskitchen considers Ikon as their venue anymore. |

ferry was great to see once, but he's always gonna be stopping by nyc.
schulz and g&d dont come by as much, so that's where I'm goin :D
plus i got a lot of ch00ns to request on from both acts :D |

OUCH!!! That's kinda harsh wouldn't you say??? Jon O' Bir happens to be one of the best up and coming DJs out there and I would much rather pay $150 to see him over alot of the bigger names. Not only is he a great DJ but he is very down to earth and treats all his fans equal.....not like some DJs we know of.
Btw....he made NYE the special night that it was. His set was INSANE!!!.....Xpander @ the ball drop = one of the sickest moments ive ever had in a club.;) |

I have it on my video. It was crazy i agree with you and Jon was really good. We chilled together after the party. He is a sweetheart but ... PvD behaved like a total jerk that night. But i would still paid $150 to see him.
But... this is a thread about Ferry and Marcus. Lets get back to the topic...:D |

well what do u expect??? there was like 4 fights and it killed the mood and cops were everywhere.... everybody would be pissed off cause it ruins ur set and most people will only remember that about the nite
+ PvD loves us in NY and that's pretty much never happened so he just got mad |
