armin was once asked how he would describe trance, and he said warm uplifting emotional electronic music, so the similarity is there between genres, lets work on that.
i think the bridge between trance and classical should continue to be closed resulting in higher standard trance productions and maybe trance music getting the respect it deserves rather than its current status as a second rate genre.

wow man what a great comment. First, I'd like to thank everyone who enjoys the piece and respects this genre and what I have created. I totally agree with everything you wrote there. Most trance songs today miss the beautiful melodies/emotions/ideas that are supposed to define true trance. It's a shame seeing the genre go in such a bad direction.
Aside from that, I'm actually 17 years old...turning 18 in a couple months! hehe.
@ S-Tune - I worked on the track for a month on and off. When i first started, it was a completely different track melody-wise :). I'm happy with the end result tho.
@ IDarkISwordI - wow...your trailer blew me away man. It's so nicely put together with the music. Altho I would've liked to see more fighting parts during the drums, it turned out great! The break where Cecile is singing is so nicely done...I havent seen this movie but that angel-like girl @ the break captures the emotion in Cecile's voice. I appreciate what you've done here dude, enjoyed it very much :)

Hey. You can post that link in your signiture if you like, I have no probelm with it, but I think yousendit links die in 7 days so it would only be up for a week. I plan on grabbing my web domain sometime this week though, and I can upload it to that too :). And its actually not my job. In fact I'm a 2nd semester college freshman and I'm working towards becoming a computer/electrical engineer :P. I do it just for fun. If I made money on doing it, that would be great but I'd never charge for it unless offered money.

| what can I say mate ? this sounds very good to me.. I like this style of music a lot, because I like emotional music and this one definetaly is emotional... and I know one thing for sure, this kind of music is not easy to make.. so keep up this great work. Strings are awesome, melodies are awesome, overall is awesome... so it means only one thing... your music is awesome ;) |

im glad you noticed the attention. It was rly hard to make everything sound "realistic" given the tools I used.
