It actually depends on the State you live in. There are so many stupid laws out there that no one knows of, that a cop can almost get you for anything. If you wanna be an ass to a cop he could just ask to search your car & can make up a reason why. Then he can find bull problems with your car & site you. Even if he doesnt site you for anything, he's having fun wasting your time. Ya alot of cops do suck but alot are cool too. |

since your dad knows the chief and all...
my dad told a mate that there never were any cops on this one road, so he could drive how fast he wanted to. then he got another mate which is a cop to pull him over, and laid him in cuffs and all then laughed at him :D |

like i said, if a cop is gonna mess with you, it sucks at the time it's happening...but once you get an attorney and go over everything that happened, the cop is screwed, assuming he was using his authority for the wrong purposes or overstepping his boundaries.
look i'm not a copbasher, but i definitely think most police officers do not stand for what they used to.
"Protect & Serve" my ass...more like, "hmm, i was a high school reject and flunked out of community college, so i'll just become a cop, then i can do what i want and pull over anyone i want, etc.."

lol, have you seen that harold and kumar goes to white catle movie? they are standing by a cross over and theres no cars and it sthe middle of the night and the light wont turn green, so they decide to cross and just as they take the first step a cop comes driving and gives them a ticket for jay walking!! its hilarious :P |

Very true. My cousin is a Chicago Cop, but 1 of the laid back cool ones. He even agrees alot of suburban cops get power trips since they probably got picked on in HS & probably need the badge to get laid.:p |
