+1 It's so hard to classify my taste in dance music. Im 50/50 with trance and house. As far as trance goes...nobody has taken the cake for me just yet. PVD sucked in Miami but was amazing at Crobar, Tiesto was amazing in Miami but sucked here in NYC. Ferry was great at Space and I will wait till his show @ Crobar before I jump the gun. As far as house goes....Sander and Danny Howells all the way with.....Sander deff has the edge though.;) |

| i'll admit armin has done it for me trance-wise. but overall best night for me has been sasha/zabiela. they tore the roof off of crobar that night |

close second would be armin, and its not included but Pete Tong in february was awesome too :D |

For me trance has fallen off, and its not the DJ's... its the productions, they just arent doing it for me. I can listen to sets from 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 over and over and over again... but the recent stuff gets boring after the second listen.
House music has so much flavor to it, so many different styles, so many different types, its hard to get bored with it because when listening to the right DJ, they will incorporate alittle bit of everything to keep you interested. |

Ferry shows are consistently GREAT and he knows HOW TO OPEN with just the right song...:crazy: :crazy: he was HOT at Space :D (i agree with what he says in my SIG)
I missed the SASHA/ZABIELA TAG TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( im sooo sad
yeah i agree the tried and true trance formula is just getting old, no new innovative sound at all....but still great to dance to all NIGHT!!! |

| I am getting into a couple of new sasha sets. He has great programming. But all in all Derek Howell takes the cake. This guys consitently makeing stellar productions and has a few rare amazing sets floating around on the hub. |

Ok, your judgement against Sander K is dependant on Starscape? A disaster of an event...
How many times have you seen Sander this year and where?
3 times in NYC for me and once in Miami. |

He is right though. I bet Sander will never show his face at Starscape again. He was the only reason I was even considering going to that event but even SANDER wasn't enough because I knew it would be a clown fest. A DJ's performance has alot to do with the vibe/venue/surroundings. Amagine Barry White playing live at the Loft.......he prob wouldn't do so well.:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: |
