I debated doing one of those types of studies earlier this year to have a bunch more $$ for WMC but ended up chickening out.

If there's any doubt in your mind, then don't do it.

3 grand is pretty insane, i can get the apple 30' HD cinema display

but then again what if one of the side effects is "grow fetus on side of face"

i keep applying for depression/bipolar studies but they never call. I'd really like to have $600 for being monitored for 7 days

do it. Even if the study gets funked up you can sue their asses.

:wtf: plus it might even help science.

Please enlighten us w/ the details

I assume you do not have HIV so how would you be of benefit to the study? Are you a part of the control group?

i don't really know. the requirements are healthy people who do not smoke and do not have HIV. so i guess its just for side effects of the medication.

and how can i sue them? i'm sure i'll have to sign some waiver form

HIV meds have some of the highest rates of side effects out of all meds today. I have worked in pharmacy for over 2 years now. What we are told is to wash hands after handling the meds (Epivar, Combivir Trizivir) All highly dangerous medications. We have an intern in the pharmacy that is pregnant. My pharmacist will not even allow her to touch the bottle b/c it can cause severe damage to the unborn child. The only reason there paying you that kind of money is b/c of the high risk. I take it that your young and just want the quick cash. Taking that medication could cause you to loose your ability to father a child in the future or even give you heart disease. If you don’t believe me just look at the patient package insert for any of the drugs I have mentioned. It will help you understand what I'm saying here.
