WOW. That was a great night.
At first it was weird to see the club start late. I guess there was something else going on beforehand and it ended a bit late. I'm not sure they were letting people in until about 10:45 or so. For those who stuck it out in line it was worth it.
Kristina played a great set to open up: definitely had the crowd going. Forever Waiting was a great older track to throw in there ;). I was originally supposed to close, so I brought all my harder stuff with me. I kinda decided 'why the hell not' and played about normal, maybe 1-2 bpm under what I usually play, until the last three tracks when I started to slow it down just a bit. I was a bit preoccupied with the setup for the first 20 minutes to really enjoy myself, but after that it was pretty much smooth sailing and felt as if I did a bit better. The crowd, at least counting those I could see, seemed to get pretty into it. I hope you enjoyed my track and my edit of Greece 2000.
I had to take a break for about an hour afterwards just to catch some air, but when I came back the Solarstone guy was completely tearing things up. I don't blame all those people for sticking it out until 4am (and trying to stay later!). And Bas capped the night perfectly with revelations about his lust for Sasha. Amazing night again!

There was some Hip-Hop event going on before heaven that night. So they had to get every one out, clean up and then start letting people in.
The Guest list line was super long and the Lady takeing care of the list was takeing the longest time to check id's and get money. On Bussy nights or nights that happen to start late there really needs to be 2 people handling the list or something imo.
Once inside however you can see the Q has left and The Vangard has a new home. The new lighting System was up and running and the Function 1 sound system was working!!! :eyes: IMO the Function 1 system beats any EWS system out of the water!!!
Krista Sky threw down yet another amazing opening set. I thought Kenosis was pretty good at little on the hard side for a headliner, but that was not his Falut.
But the Min Solarstone came on it was all over! Like I said before simply amazing. He started on the more mellow side but bulit it up. And every track got better and better. I was going to leave at 2 since I was running on a quater take. But 2 became 3:15ish. :crazy: At that point I was done. I was pretty tired From Ferry the night before. I hated to go though :(
There where so many TA's and Friends out and that made the night even better!
I took so many pictures!!! But again my website is still down!!!

All of it was amazing: the new sound system, the lighting, the DJs and the crowd!! Great job!
I think the TA crew took over the entire front of the dance floor! So much fun dancing and partying with all of you as always!
Kristina's set was great! Waveforce!!:crazy:
So cool to finally see Kenosis spin. I really enjoyed his set!
SOLARSTONE!!! Holy !!!:crazy: Un-en-believable!!! One of my favorite sets I've heard. Incredible!:D Everyone was going nuts on the floor dancing, jumping up and down... WOW! So many smiling faces!:D
Ahh, great night at Heaven! This was definitely one of my favorites, right next to the Thrillseekers!;) |
