I happen to be a big fan of Tom Cruise. Love his acting, specially in The Matrix.

Matt
scientology is such a crock-full-of- it isn't even funny anymore.
squirrelly
Actually he's quite right about the pills that are prescribed by psychiatrists. You'd be surprised at the amount of times that pills are incorrectly prescribed. Misdiagnosage is a larger problem than most think. And actually, Ritalin is one of the most abused prescriptions, and the number of children misdiagnosed and given this prescription is staggering. Not only that, but most pills actually are useless, because it's just supressing underlying emotions. You can run as far as you want, and take as many pills as you want, but if you don't come face to face with the underlying issues, the depression, anxiety, whatever, will remain. I don't believe taking pills for the rest of your life is the answer. Don't get me wrong, I am impressed with the psychological advances that have been made, however, I strongly disagree with the thought of an individual being tied down to medication for the rest of their lives in order to mask some underlying problem.

*edit

Tom Cruise is really rude in that interview.

Lauer: All i'm saying is that these prescriptions might work for some people, not all, just some.
Cruise: That's completely wrong, Mat, before the day of liberation we must learn to control our chemical imbalances using natural medicaments.
Lauer: What i'm getting at is that I know people who are better now that they've seen a psychologist and started medication, and they seem better now.
Cruise: Now you see what's happening, you don't know because you're an idiot Matt. I mean you're a real dumbass. What i'm saying is you don't know the history of psychology like I do, tard. There is no such thing as a "chemical imbalance".
Lauer: Didn't you just say.....
Cruise: Look look moron, what I just said isn't important, the important thing is that we find that little bastard who squirted water on my face last week. I'm going to give him such a scolding as has not been seen since the time of XENU!
Lauer: Uh...
Cruise: Listen Mat, what you're saying is that I can't talk about these things, things like evil microphones filled with water, and my saviour Xenu. Now what kind of discussion is this Matt?
Lauer: Someone get the tranq....
Cruise: XENU SAVE ME!

Direct transcript I swear...names changed for the sake of accuracy!

Tom shouldn't be mad about being squirted in the face with water because it all natural, no drugs or chemicals.

Scientology is a load of CRAP! I read L. Ron Hubbard's book, and nowhere in it was Scientology actually explained...only the benefits of believeing and being a scientologist. Give me a ing break, it's all a whole lot of double talk! Maybe I have to be an advanced member to get more answers?? Anyways...bull is what it is. No wonder Tom Cruise is so fux0red.
