What a ing weekend! Club Heaven and EDC, that ed me up!
INFECTED MUSHROOM OWNED MY LIFE! I've been waiting for years to be able to see them, and that time finally came last night! I don't think i've ever danced as hard as I had last night when they played. I sweat so much, I felt bad for anyone who was moving past me and touched my shirt, haha. I cooled down by going to the house arena for a while, but went right back to IM as soon as I got the feeling to get down, dirty and hard!
It was cool meeting a lot of you this weekend. Makes me want to post on here more so I can get to know you all a little better for next time.
Electrophile! Thanks for letting Curly and I crash at your pad after Heaven. And thank your parents again for the breakfast. That was bomb!

WHOOOOO HOOOOO!!! I had so much Fun!!! A big thank you to Kris for makeing that happen. ;)
Kris, Dj Fadded, Mike, Arron and I got to EDC at around 6:30. We had no problems getting in really. I got to bring in my Gum, chapstick, and lipstick. :)
Once we got inside we went in to the "Trance" Room. I was not feeling Dorn, but we ran in to Curly, Rubin and Friends. After a quick hello Kris and I decided to walk around the Event center. We ran in to The Virgin booth and found Ferry Posters. We where going to take them off the fence, but a staff memeber gave us some and told us Ferry was going to be there for a singing at 9:30. We made plans to be there at 9:15p. So we walked to get some drinks, and go back into the "Trance Room" and Infected Mushroom was kicken ass!:eyes: What a great way to start the night. Julia found us and her friends went to get drinks. At 9ish We all walk to Say Hi to Ferry (again ;)) We got our posters singed and pictures taken and back in too the "Trance Room" again. Junki XL was on now. Like Julia said it was the same stuff he has played before in La, but he did not board me to tears like he did at Ultra. Julia found some glow sticks on a Strings and did a show with them and relised her keys where gone!!! We went back tracking to look for them and they where no where to be found! Total buszz kill for Julia but we all reasured her that we would help out at the end with what ever she needed.:D
After Junkie XL was done they took his equipemt away and Crystal Method came on. I managanged to get the primo spot front and center. Once there I was not going to move. hehe. Again Julia is right.. they acted like Drunken fools on stage tossing water out and such. I was not really feeling them at all. At one ponit the stage manager told them they needed to stop and they stull played 2 more tracks:whip:
Ferry gets on at 12:30 and from that ponit on it was me, the music and Kirs and Ferry! But 15 minutes or so into his set this ass hole gets on the stage and decides he wants to crowd surf. Poor Kirs got knocked in the ear/ head and all most over and he kicked one girl behind us! ( Bad Karma to you dude) That was a major buzz kill. It took about 10 minto get back to Ferry. What helped was I brought a Red heart with me. Kris and I where hold it up high and scraming and dancing our asses off. It payed off ;) I saw Ferry look at us a few times. hehe :)
Oh Ferry's Set was Amazing. I did not like the fact that the bright lights and fog where on the whole time. But I guess that is the Price you pay when you are smack dab front and center.
When Ferry Played "Punk" the whole place went nuts!!! :eyes: He also got on stage to toss water out to the crowd and sing along to "Rock your Body"
Right before 2 they turned on the lights, but let Ferry Play one more Track!! :D :D :D. The stage manager then got on the mic and did that whole thank you for comming stuff, and every one was screaming for Ferry to play one more. He wanted too but they would not let him:mad:
Oh well after he was done Kris and I walked over to the side and Ferry saw he had Fans there and came over. Some Crazy chick was so excited to see Ferry she hit him and knocked him in the Head!:crazy:
I had such an awesome time at ECD this year!!! I can not wait to see Ferry at Ice Next Saturday where he can get a proper set!!!! :D

There was seriously 7 or 8 guys with Real Madrid jerseys on. At the end of the night we all ended up in the center during Ferry's set and danced up a storm. A crowd formed to see 7 Madrid fans get down. It was pretty weird.

WOW is all I can say!!! Last night is without question the greatest night of my life! Thank you to everyone that made it sooo amazing! Curly, Avtar, Renee', sorry for taking off but you all know where I was :eek: ;) I am so pumped for Independence right now, I don't think I can make it to Saturday.
Does anyone know the producer and track name of the track that Ferry dropped with the vocal sample "I Love You":eek: THAT TRACK BLEW ME AWAY!!!! :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: I still get goose bumps thinking about it. I don't think I have ever been happier in my life than when I had my eyes closed and I was hugging my friend during the break of that track. AHHHHH, I MUST HAVE IT!!!!
Infected Mushroom was ing amazing!!! I danced so hard I actually felt dizzy! I didn't stop moving for their entire set. It was my first time ever hearing any of their work, I always knew who they were but I had never had a chance to see them live. I missed Junkie XL and TCM. I wanted to experience everything at EDC, not just one area. I can't wait to see Ferry in Vegas. I can't wait for PvD either. He owns me! |

Another day..that Im saying HFS!! What an Amazing time!! I never went to EDC before... Id have to say..im looking forward to going next year!! Thank you Faded for Driving!! Once inside.. we just walked around checking stuff out.. saying our hellos... Ferry signed some stuff..took pictures at a Virgin signing booth.. Thank you ferry! Once we got some drinks..we headed back in the main area... good to see a lot of TA's in there!! Infected Mushroom was on..INSANE!! omg..I've never seen them before..only heard that i should..omg..they have a new fan... what an amazing set.. The dude singing...and the other one on key boards... nothings better then seeing a live set...music in the making... INCREDIBLE!!!

I loved Junkie XL... ive heard his stuff...and seeing him was great... i love it when the dj interacts with the crowd.. just makes the experience with them better!! We started moving our way to front and center by the time TCM came on...i loved the drunken (not sure if they were or not..)fools...haha..very entertaining...!! .. at some point ..i was a little lost..but somehow got sucked right back in... I think with them running around...and all the crowd interaction..i was impressed...a lot of good tracks.. I know i never stopped dancing .... Ferry took over..and OMG! OMG OMG!! better set then in SD.. i think i was feeling the festival vibe too.. amazing..i love ferry no matter what.. Michelle and I danced non stop... Ferry was very interactive ... with the crowd..as usual.. He loves what he does..thats for sure! Have to say a HUGE thank you to faded for keeping the water..and drinks coming...glow sticks.. Spreading the good vibes... ing funny.. handing me 100 glow sticks to hand out to all the party ppl around us... That was a HIT!! Thank you curly for trying to keep me cool...and Phillpe.. fanning me with the flyer!! Michelle.. I don't know what I'd do without you! YOu are amazing... !! :D GReat times with you as always... Julia..you crack me up!! FUN FUN FUN!!
I guess on the low point of the night... was julia losing her keys.. im sure it was on the grass..when that dude was grabbing at your pockets.. :nervous:
And then me getting knocked in the head..by some dumb that decided it would be cool to stage dive on a 5'2 girl..wtf? I swear i heard a crunch when he hit me.. i was kinda dazed for a bit... i thought i broke something.. I think it was just my hair clips..getting crushed and broken into my ear... just a little bruised and gashed... I wish someone would have socked that guy in the head ... from me and the girl behind me... :whip: what a stupid !! :mad:
Most of my pictures suck too... too much fog... and strange lighting...
Overall..I had the best time ever...I think I sweat off 5 lbs...!!( always a good thing!!) the MUSIC WAS SICK, INSANE, AMAZING!!! My friends are amazing..i love you all!!( i couldn't ask for a better group of people to hang out with!!) ;) Dressing up Rave style again..was so fun... I haven't done that in years!! woo hoo... great weekend... can't wait for Indpendance..and ICE!! Michelle and I are gonna Tear it up!! :tongue2 |
