OMG ... I CANNOT believe this.
The legend himself, Yoji is coming to Canada ... but not Toronto! :mad: :whip:
He's going to be in Calgary July 1st .... although it's TBA on his site.
It also says he will be in Vancouver, PNE Collesium on July 2nd.
I don't get it ... of all places, he's gonna be in Calgary and Vancouver, but not Toronto !?!?
Even more surprising ... one of my friends somehow got in contact with Yoji's agent ... and the guy actually lives in Toronto! Apparently he's this Persian guy ... and he told my friend that Yoji doesn't come to Toronto becuase of a lack of fans.
I refuse to believe there are more fans in Calgary than there are in Toronto.
Someone PLEASE ... Destiny, Temporal Rhythm, anyone ... PLEASE bring Yoji to Toronto ... it would be a dream come true! |

Depends what kind of set he feels like putting on ... sometimes he purposely drops commercial tracks in his sets, and sometimes he goes wild and brings you a set full of banging tunes, some new, some underground, but always his mixing is top notch, and he really puts on a show. |

He's got a point here. Hard dance is as dead here as Toronto massives.
Bringing Yoji to toronto is like bringing deko-ze to an old folks home. |

But why do we see acts like Cosmic Gate or Dumonde come here often?
And why are there hardstyle acts coming left and right these days?
Is hardstyle actually popular in Toronto compared to Hard Dance? |

Because hard dance was actually popular when we had a rave scene. Dumonde and Cosmic Gate were playing toronto back then, just like how we get house DJs like Sneak, Farina, DJ Dan, and Bad Boy Bill because of industry.
But back in the day, I had no idea who Yoji was, couple that with our rave scene collapsing, and it took our hard dance scene with it, taking us off the map for newer hard dance DJs like Yoji. |

IF you claim that hard Dance and/or Hard Style is DEAD, then exactly what style is Marco V. He keeps coming back, 2-3 times at least yearly.....
