I can vouch for that, I think most of your vinyl lives in yor carring case and is carried around all the time.

That blue Lava lamp really completes the setup.

Nothing too special about my studio... 2 tech12 m3ds, Pioneer 600 (trying to save for the allen & heath Xone92) Tech RP-DH1200 Headphones (These fookin rock, did not think anything could top the old sony MDRs) 2 Shure White Labels (IMO, way better than the ortofon concords, which have been my long time favs) 2 Rokit KRK 5s monitors and 2 DCM 12 Speakers.

As far as recording... Soundforge is the way to go.

Yeah... the only times the tables get used at home is either to listen to new records or when making a cd...

Hey, Thee-O, is that name from Charlie Lownoise and Mental Thee-o?
Cool Xone
Give me a holla when you do get the xone 92. Has anyone actually tried that thing? I've spun on the xone 62 plenty of times and the sound quality makes the pioneers sound like clock radios...
DjWoody
I have played with the Xone 92 several times, and I must say, it's an Aural Orgasm!!!! It's so sweet! I love every inch of it. I have a Pioneer, and ever since I mixed on the Xone 92 for the first time, I never looked back! I want to sell mine and get the Xone 92. Oh yeah! Good times ahead. BTW, if you use the effects on the Pioneer heavily, you're going to have to adjust quite a bit to the Xone 92, as the effects are gone, and they are replaced with Filters. The control of the filters is amazing. The quality, the crispiness, is unbeliveable. And how can we forget those little blue lights! Oh yeah, eye candy!

I got a xone 92 for xmas

But I suck still!

A girlfriend and I are practicing really hard and hope to be a female version of Deep Dish soon! :whip:

I actually have to admit i ed up the first time i played on the Xone 92. The sound is so much clearer than than the 600 to the point i think it overloads your brain. 2 mixes later i was on top of it, an egads, there are some sounds in your tracks that you might have not heard before. And i think i like the filters more so than the effects on the 600 as well, you got high, mid and low pass filters and a nigh infinite ways to tweak the sound on this thing. Oh, also the the two seperate mids knobs per channel is also ver nice, gives a bit more control on sounds you want to cut out.

And this thing looks wicked in the dark all lit up!

You guys are right, it takes time to get used to the Xone 92. We had it at Element a while back, and the DJ that owns it, told me to pick it up a few days later so I can break it in. If it wasn't for that, I dunno what I wouldve done. Trainwreck all the way! lol
