Im guilty of missing the party.
To be honest, I totally forgot about it. I went to the beach earlier in the day, chilled at my sisters house for most of the day, than went to my bestfriend's house for like 5 mins and than we ended up at some kids house getting rediculously ed up until like 5AM. |

Good times this past Saturday night/Sunday morning! Most fun I've had at the loft in quite some time. Thanks to all that stuck around for mine and Pats set...we were having a blast up there. Unfortunately had to leave after spinning cause I had tix to the yanks/mets game. Bummed out I missed Dave & Joels sets but glad to hear you guys did a bang up job. Till next time.

First time at the Loft, also. It kind of reminds me a bit of Arc: small (but not too small), alcohol and soda available, plenty of space to sit, and conveniently near a train station. The music was great (but it did slow down a bit, at some points) and it was nice to see one of the DJ's smile and get into his craft. Ah, and the terrace: that is a nice touch. Being able to catch some fresh air from time to time was a life saver. I just wish the melodic/uplifting stuff was played before sunrise:) In any case, a nice break from the big, commercial clubs, and a great deal for just 10 bucks! What I want to know is, if the party is TA RSVP, how do so many Factory heads get in?
Daniela is right: that sound system is loud. Space shuttles may have lower, registered decibel levels upon take-off :D |

Great! Excellent! Super! Wicked! <3
My first Loft Party (after a respectable 6 weeks in the States already), and I was loving it!
Overall, music was great, just what I needed to stay on the floor all night (and morning), despite hurting feet & no shoes due to my first 'walk around the city all day in flip-flops' experience..
Super thanks to all of you people making this possible, and for spreading the word so that even someone like me would hear about it and enjoy the party with you guys :)
About the DJs, I'm guessing I liked the one(s) after Alex best (the only name I knew), especially the one that kinda looked like Kevin Spacey, if you know who I mean
I managed to drag along a friend from work too, but he bailed out around 5 already. The condition of my feet and general tiredness hit in after 8, and combined with the music they were playing at the time, it was time to head home..
It was great putting faces to some of you guys, was a pleasure to meet you all!
Soren > Such dumb luck to sit down next to YOU first thing after arriving to the party. There's definitely something about us Scandinavian intellectuals!
Sam & Brianna > Great meeting you guys, hope to see you again soon
Daniela > my feet were hurting like hell on the long way from Brooklyn to White Plains (didn't have to walk ALL the way though, fortunately), but thanks to the miracle of gel bandages they're giving me no trouble anymore. Fell asleep on the train a couple of times, but me and my black aching feet made it home ok, thanks for asking
Colibri > Yes I know who you are, but I'm sure you have no idea about my age. Again. ;)
All the rest of you TAs out there I didn't meet, hope to make the connection some other time
