| I want to go to see the live bands more than I want to see Tiesto. I could skip seeing that gorilla and be fine. |

| Little bands? I guess you're uneducated to the Voodoo Fest lineup. Either that or you have poor taste. I'm going to assume both. I never said anything bad about Carl Cox, he's your daddy. Mine too. |

and you drove with TWO others - the one that drove US crazy ended up flying... |
Exactly. Damn I have no idea how I managed to share a room with red neck dave w/o killing him. Guess I have good patience in dealing with people. It was funny as hell having him around though. |

| Redneck Dave is hilarious, but after awhile I want to chop him up into little pieces. |

Yes. Canal St. hotels charge out the ass. Don't stay on Canal. If you're rich, you can stay at Windsor Court.
I'd recommend the Ambassador Hotel (considering prices don't go up for Voodoo.. and that's doubtful.)

I just got back from New Orleans. What a great time! I liked the place I stayed at, International House, right at Camp & Canal.
Check out Magazine St, out near 1st--cool Garden District area. Best Po'Boys at Parasols. Then you can take the St Charles streetcar back to downtown.
Parking is a pain in NO though, it's ~20/day! |

oh, i'm coming for this one. Well, i was thinking to catch all 5 TIC but looks like i'm gonna miss Miami .:whip: But.... I'm coming to New Orleans and can't wait. I want to experience Voodoo festival and see what it is about. I only have a question to whose who live in NO - is it worth it to stay for a couple more days and spend a Halloween there as well? Is it any different from 5th avenue parade and NYC' halloween parties?
Thanks.
We are staying at Le Pavillon, pls stop by to say hello.:D |
