in my opinion, the steals were :
- charolette bobcats - they got the felton and may combo, which brings instant chemistry to the team already .. they each know each other like the back of their hands .. so smart pick by bernie bickerstaff by picking may.
- portland trailblazers - i know .. i know .. you guys are going to flame me for this .. but hey! .. they didn't pick anyone with a criminal record this year .. :wtf: ...
but look at his draft, and be excited about it .. marcell webster and jarrett jack .. maybe this lineup can spruce up shareef abdur-rahim to his old days in memphis .. he clearly is portland's best player, but plays based on motivation (yet however, there was no motivation in memphis also .. :nervous: ) ..
just get patterson to shed some pounds, give darius miles a pacifier while playing, and hide the grass from damon stoudemire and this team should be good ... right ??
- boston celtics - at first, i thought danny ainge was a bonehead, and attended the same management classes as isaiah thomas .. :wtf: .. but after this draft, he really is the smartest bear in the forest .. gerald green (a supposed lottery pick, but got dropped) and ryan gomes (a supposed lottery pick last year, but somehow got dropped) .. put these guys with davis, pierce, and walker ( ?? .. willing to play next year ?? .. he's always griping about something), and payton ( when is he going to retire?), and lafrentz ( gotta mention him i guess ..), and you got a team ..
-steals :
- joey graham (toronto) - they needed a strong guy to beef up their already scrawny team with bosh, rose, peterson, and alston ... this is their guy ..
- danny granger (indiana) - :wtf: .. they're already good enough, and they got better by getting danny granger ... i will tell you that this guy is better than jonathan bender , of course .. look for indiana to drop that zero, and play this hero ..
- luther head (houston) - this is going to be interesting what houston does with him .. he is deadly in the 3, and i'm sure van gundy is going to implement him well, but houston already has sura, mike james, and jon barry ... ?????
- wayne simien (miami) -- :wtf: .. same goes for this team, along with indiana .. that's it .. indiana and miami .. book them for the eastern finals .. you can't ask for more from these two teams .. they just went from better to betterer .. (is that a word ??? )
- ronny turiaf (l.a. lakers) - i say the team that is going to pick this guy is going to have instant spunk right away .. i guess many scouts missed this guy playing in the ncaa tournament .. he has an edge, and he's bringing it to the lakers .. along with brian cook (hopefully he'll play better next year) and the return of devean george, maybe the lakers will be better next year ... |

As a Blazers fan, I have to point out that Shareef Abdur Rahim AND Damon Stoudamire are unrestricted free agents and will not be back with the team.
Rahim played PF and they're committed to Randolph already anyway if he comes back healthy. He'll go to a winner since he's never been to the playoffs.
Bongamire SUCKS A BIG FATTY so someone else can enjoy a shooting point guard who can't shoot and is too short to guard anyone. Buh Bye! |

So now that i see that isiah got yet another guard..someone has got to get traded or released.
Leopoldstotch you must be happy to have gotten Chris Paul out of all this for your Hornets and Bass coming off the bench shouldn't be too bad..unless he fills out and becomes the second coming of Stanley roberts |

yeah .. i have thought about it alot between deron williams and chris paul, and i figured that chris paul would be better in the 'byron scott' system, because now with paul, scott can implement more screen and rolls, isolation plays with paul to free up our big men (p.j. and big cat ??? hopefully he stays, because i see this guy as real potential to put up some double-double averages, and about 2 blocks a game ..)
i just wish our guy lee nailon can step up his game a notch more than last year .. he is a good player .. has a great jumpshot, and can go out for the 3 from time to time ..
i also have kudos to jr smith .. watch out for this guy next year guys .. this guy has some serious hops .. and he really did work on his jump shot over the season ..
but now with chris paul, i figure the hornets are going to either cut or trade dickau (even though i love the guy) ..
but the probable rotation for the hornets would probably be :
p.j. brown, lee nailon/david west, big cat magloire, jr smith, and chris paul
and bench would be : nachbar, anderson, claxton, and lee nailon/david west ..
depending .. no one is really talking about david west .. he did bring xavier(ohio) to the elite two years ago .. |

| I think Claxton would bring them the most in trade value.especially with teams like Atlanta needing to get rid of a forward or 2.Al Harrinton would be athletic and fit the Byron Scott system |

atlanta is a good place for him, especially if you put him in a team with marvin williams, josh childress, and josh smith .. :eyespop: ..
but if the hornets were smart, they would likely use him as a package with jamaal magloire to trade to some contending up and coming team .. can't think of any team that needs a pg now, since all the good pgs were taken in the draft .. |

i think jameer nelson has some good game going on .. although winning the collegiete player of the year was a hoax in my opinion, he didn't score 20+ points a game at st joe's for nothing .. the a-10 conference is a tough conference ..
but i say give steve francis a pacifier too .. him and darius miles should be in a 4X4 room to share their common issues how much they are big babies .. |

Both of them are angels compared to reuben Patterson...seattle did a great move getting rid of that cancer |

Shareef going to the Nets i hear.
Heard Frye on the sports radio show here in NYC today. Sounded pretty good and seems that he wants to prove the doubters wrong. Although I still doubt him he will prolly be better than Bogut who is Bogus |

| I could totally see Shareef going to the Nets. This past year there was talk about a Blazers/Nets trade but it never materialized. Shareef was really pushing for that one at the time. |

why do you hate Patterson so much?? i mean i know the Blazers have some thugs but its unfair to focus on that when any second player in the league once shot a gun or raised hands on a women...hell even Jason Kidd was in jail or something for hitting his wife 4 years ago.
so cool it a little bit... |
