i would trade Reef,Damon,1st round pick from utah 4nxt year,2nd round pick and Derek anderson for Pierce and Mark Blount.
Ainge likes Reef very much and is dying to get rid of walker and Pierce with his depressions are getting on his nerves, the blazers need a SG bad and need to sell tickets...i think this trade would satisfy both team,if this kind of trade does'nt go down then John Nash
must at least sign Finely... |

so cool it a little bit... |
Probably came out a bit more venomous than i intended it ,but you have to admit it is frustrating when you see a guy who is very talented and when he feels like showing up is amazing and then after he and others on the team screw up and have it dragged out publicly and see those people make no effort to change the publics perception of them. What it comes down to though is they have a incredibly young team and they need some solid citizens and leaders on that team and he should be among those jettisoned.just my opinion and i do think the league should come down harder on the players when they do act like knuckleheads and sully the leagues image |

Also I was thinking about all these great players in the NCAA and how they bombed in the NBA or didnt even make it, it puzzels(sp) me.
Heres a few from my fav confernece the Big EAST!:
Preston Shrumpert(Cuse)
Donny Marshall (UCONN)
Bill Curley (BC)
Scoonie Penn (BC/Ohio State)
Howard Eisley (BC)
John Wallace (Cuse)
God Shammgod (Prov) HAHA BEST NAME EVER
Felipe Lopez (St. Johns)
Austin Corshere(Providence) he used to be good for the Pacers too????
Anyway thats the conference Im near and dear to, but what happend to those guys, they were great in the Big East and NCAA tourney. WTF?! |

the same reason why alot of big name college QBs dont make it in the NFL, theyre just optical illusions.Players who fit into the system placed in their college team, where they play against mostly sucky players from other schools. With all the coverage the media gives college sports , people seem to forget thats its basicly a minor league.
People think the defence is way better in college basketball, when actually its just that the offence stinks.
anyways the one guy me and leopold talked about be4 was Danny Manning, that guy was the main star when Kansas won the title, but his career never took off in the NBA(injurys didnt help)
alot of these players coming out of college think theyre the , but once they get into the NBA with touger competition they find out who they realy are, and this is when they need to figure out what kind of player theyll be and to work harder, and some never figure that out. |

this guy never had a chance in new york, although he stayed in the same state after college .. it's not alien to him or something . . ..
but many of the pro flops from college all goes down if you're a 'pure' basketball player vs a 'system' guy .. if you're pure, you can mesh into any basketball philosophy, and it won't hurt your game .. if you're a system guy, then you have to play in one system, or your game stinks ..
but i don't understand john wallace .. he brought cuse to the final four his senior year ?? :conf: ..
surprisingly InterMilan didn't mention :
Christian Laettner (duke)
joe smith ( nc state )
randolph childress (georgia tech or wake forest ???)
bobby hurley (duke) <== an exception, because he got into a car accident
chris jackson a.k.a. muhammad abdul rauf (lsu) <== when he turned muslim, down went his career
and more .. |

heh william avery played right here in Hapoel Jerusalem in this season and he will be in russia or something in the next season, he is more of a shooter then a PG and i think that he's still a solid player.
Randolph Childress played with Tim Duncan at Wake forrest and i read that alot of times he was actually more valuble for the team.
And SlackerBoy9: i'm not putting that much attention to the players behaviours even if the things they do can make me sick , i watch them play and serv my team and thats the thing im mainly interested about.
I think that they think diffrently then me and that they're mind works diffrently then mine.
I think everyone have some more importent things to think about then the acts of spoiled players in this league. |

Lopez was good though he just never fufilled his potential I watched alot of him I could do a full scounting report on him. He was so SMOOTH everything he did looking like he was doing it on automatic |
