hey currently almost all top djs spin at Space Miami, well except for Armin for some reason...if Spirit becomes Space maybe all the djs will come here in the future...like Edgar V :D and esp the other djs who currently spin at AVALON...
lets take away Avalon's BUSINESS lol :p YAY |

part of what makes space space is the crowd/vibe... that's not something that can be replicated w/ new management...

I know what you mean. I just like Spirit as a venue but the crackheads it brings in does kinda ruin the vibe a little.
Last month for Armin I bumped into this chic accidently. Her boyfriend took it upon himself to shove me into a load of people. I think he saw my roomate come into the picture and pretty much backed off from there but it just pissed me off that the guy took it that far. Instead of giving me the chance to apologize first (which I ended up doing anyway) or just simply realise it wasnt a big deal it almost turned into a big mess.
I saw him upstairs later that night and we kinda let eachother know it was dumb and shouldnt have happened. But it almost did. Just one thing I cant ing stand about clubs. The people. I love them and I hate them at the same time cuz its usually a flip of a coin on whether the person is gonna be a total jackass or a super cool person. Thank God for the TA's that show up to hang out with. :) |

Space's crowd never impressed me one bit. It was always the terrace that made Space what it was. Just something about g'd out guidoes and tina hoppin silicon that kinda weirds me out. |

the thing that always bothered me about space was all the BS and comps/lists magically disappearing, regardless of who's list you're on or who you are walking in with :mad: :mad: i *love* the terrace, but i can only sell my first-born once to get in there LOL
so i dunno if this is good news....
on side note *imho*: there will never be another twilo, just like there will never be another arc/vinyl or filter 14 (RIP). instead of trying to beat a dead horse, why not create something totally new??
and i don't think we've heard the last of the old SF, btw. |

I've been once and I actually think it's nicer aesthetically; i would love to see a big dj there, like sander or sasha... and Bri i meant the terrace crowd... the mainroom crowd is, well either it's kinda too crowded to tell the difference or it's all guido'd out... while the terrace crowd is sketchy at best, it has a unique atmosphere which i have yet to seen duplicated... although my view is greatly biased since i have been to few clubs outside FL :disbelief
oh and i'm dying to go back to NYC |

Totally agree that the Terrace is what makes Space... although the crowd entertains the hell out of me... I'm also pretty sure that if I was sober on the Terrace I would be petrified of the 3 ring circus going on. |
