Who do you party with ?

So I'd really like to go to big trance events or parties but among all my friends (and i don't even talk about close friends, i mean all the people surrounding me), none of them like trance of know what trance is..
some of them have a vague idea of how trance sounds but, for instance, one of them told me few days ago "well i normally dont like trance but tiesto rox! ive watched the tiesto in concert dvd and it rox!".
the only way to get exposed to trance for me is to go clubbing with the hope that the dj would spin some trance at a point.
So im interested to know how is it happening for you when you decide to party, who you prefer to go with, how do you enjoy partying the best (alone? with you girlfriend/boyfriend? with friends? family? dog/cat?) |

Most of my friends arent into trance but I have managed to convert 2 of my friends into liking it and going out with me. My hubby likes trance but he has that "im too old to party mentality" so he tends to be a drag at parties unless I get him super ed up :)
Besides that I love to party with TA's and meet new TA's each time I go out. I have had the most fun with TA's. |

I don’t really party with any TA’s…but my little crew of friends from south beach are totally into edm. I met them through my boyfriend, but they are pretty much like my friends too (they call me to hang out even without him now). We go to all the big acts together and stuff. One of them has tables in his condo and he lives right near downtown Miami in one of those high rises in Key Biscayne (sick place), and so we always go to his place around 10 or 11 for some cocktails and stuff and he and I will spin together..he’ll do 2 songs, then I do 2…that sorta thing.
Then we call a cab and head to the clubs around 12:30/1:00. good times:D |

started partying at a very young age, so of ocurse, didn't have any friends to accompany me. evetnually, i just made friends. some were in my sister's class (older by 2 years) and ended up being my friends, met a couple people at events, and through my new made friends, and eventually turned into an etire crew.
basically, i believe if you can't party solo, you won't have fun with other people either. so if you really wanna see a DJ, just go. hell, when no one can go with me, i just go. you'll eventually meet some cool people. |

+1 :D Tried that and it sort of works. The guy only reall listens to Nu Nrg :D He tolerates other stuff but wont listen to it willingly. So only partial succes there.
However i do have a few friends that are into trance. I can be sure to see at least some of them at any trance party i go to so i am newer alone:D |

I have a few friends that will come out once in awhile to a party. My girlfriend can't stand the music and thinks I am a complete idiot for staying out all night.
My brother and I typically go to the club together but once in awhile I will just go myself. I really find that you don't need to be in a group to enjoy trance music. For me, once I start dancing I am in my own world anyhow....it is that first hour when I am not dancing that is pretty boring when I am there myself. |

i think the 2 of u are selling yourselves short by being with women who aren't on the same music/party page as you.

| I party with a lot of people, but only a few TAs from Colorado. I've partied with a few other TAs and have plans to party with others, but I usually party with my other groups of friends. I don't know. I'm a party guy, so I guess I party with too many people. :p |
