I don't want to be a loner here! :nervous: I'm here till July 22 so I look forward to having a good time :P thanks in advance ;)

OK, holy is there so much stuff for you to do before now and July 22.

1. Keep an eye out for this band named the Sunday Sinners. You will deinitely want to get loaded and wear totally kickass boots and go see these kats. Imagine if Johnny Cash was a group of women but better because they're not dead yet. Very, very, very fun parties.

2. Stereo has the best sound system of all time. And peeps are really friendly, and during the summer it's basically a nudist fest because it's way too goddamn hot.

3. Riding a bike really fast through crazed inner-city traffic is better than heroin. Live to ride.

4. Take part in any one of the millions of demonstraations that happen weekly in this town. Just follow the signs that are posted everywhere. Furthermore, go to a random show that you heard about from a random, pasted-to-the-side-of-a mailbox poster and talk to everyone there.

5. Beach volleyball by the mountain. All skill levels from dorks to dorks that can spike and have tiny, tiny hats (I'm the former).

6. Picnik Electronik happens every Sunday at Parc Jean-Drapeau, which is on the yellow line and is right next to La Ronde ($5). Really fun because crusty raver types end up outside to replenish whatever vitamin D that was decimated the night before by wild, frenetic dancing. Finally see the dark shadows that hang out at local after-hours. And most of the people are really good looking, too. If you're back at the end of the summer, there's going to be a Ninja Tune show feat. Kid Koala, Amin Tobin - you know, friendlies.

7. If you need cheap eats, Al-Taib on Guy north of de Maisonneuve. Ask for zataar and pay your $2 for the best sandwich ever.

8. Get drunk and try to climb the cross. I tried last week and set off the alarm. THere must be a way...

9. (Discontinue if you're no otaku (Japanese word for incredibly geeky fanboy) The Fantasia festival is this month and it has some seriously horrifying Korean horror movies.

10. Or just talk to as many strangers as possible, sit in a conspicuous space and watch the parade of weirdos that emerge from their dark chrysalises each summer.

11. ANd most importantly, have a good time. You're only here temporarily so any and all actions don't have repercussions.

Paix.
