Great work on this one :)
I really like your lead sound, and the percs.
Everything sounds nicely adjusted.
Lacks a bit of energy for my personal taste, but a really good production. :) |

-good strong kick
-pretty generic intro, nice clear percussion though
-bass in, nice.
-im not much for that synth, I think it needs more osc, sounds to sharp for my liking. Also think it starts to abruptly. Try a nice simple fade or filter in.
-strings are nice and melodic
-lovin the break
-ah, you've just faded the synth in and it sounds alot better dude. Good stuff.
Good remix you have here man, nice an clear. Good production and structuring, nice mastering. Just feels too 'simple' for me. |

| hi, I have listened to this one... I dont like the closed hihat mate, thats not very good, then there can be more percussions in the rythm and whole tune could have more energy an drive.. sound quality is good, but overall too simple ;) |

well song overally is too simple i was goin` for mint bassline...maybe make it sharper
the main synth is kinda dark not fit into Castamara's atmosphere i suggest to Replace it A.S.A.P

Nice full loop at start. Buildup needs more variety, takes long dude.. The synth playing the melody in the buildup is too vague, brings nice a atmosphere tho. The lead synth in the break is ugly I think, sorry. No depth in it and octave layering sounds baaad. Percs and kick are nice in this one.
After the break it's so dull, nothing really enters the mix, a bit like a fake orgasm.. sorry about that. Try to find elements to add to make it banging. I think a rolling bassline and some strings would really brighten this one up. Maybe it's taste as well but there's a lot missing I guess.
Keep working on it, Lars! ;)

Nice & clean. Great bass drumm!
I dont really like the reverbed clap all that much.
2.50 beautiful break. sweet mixture of sounds. Love that echoing poly :p
4.19 The bass could be a bit fatter.
I really enjoyed this track version (though I havent heard the original :toothless ). It's got a great atmosphere & the synths are interesting. I think you could still add a few more layers to this track. The track seems to whind down at the 5.00 where it could go to another level with more energy; instead the track finishes.
Great work Lars. The production is kickarse. |

agree with most of whats been said its in need of few more elements alright. dont know original track but i think you could add somemore transistions, fx, and strings and not liking that synth during the break its very hard house style needs some nice softening to it and maybe some delay going on. also clap is distorting and mudding mix a bit. kick an bass are good.
your 50% finished with this just work on rest and it be a solid production ;) |
