so I walked by Babylon on the way home from the gym tonight.
for what it's worth, there's a notice in the window advising that they've been shut down from June 28 - July 5 for exceeding capacity. |

| well the way i see it. hes hiding some . number 1 he didnt clearly explain whythe police came in the first place. and there seems to be alot of loops in the story. sounds more like it was bikers then popo. hes definnately leaving out alot of valuable information. not saying he didnt get beat down r the cops werent in thew wrong. Believe me, i hate cops as much as NWA or the next person. Howver here just seems to be a few holes in his story. |

That's besides the point and not even relevant man.
Those cops had no right to use that level of aggression and do what they did.
I'm appauled at what I just read.
That's literally a 20min south of me and right around the corner from my work! :wtf:
The best thing we can do for him and his family is customer patronage.
When he opens back up, we all take a walk over and buy a martini.
No revenge is sweeter than massive success...

well in his story he said he was told to go upstairs and start shutting down the bar level by level. and he did so. and it wasnt till he was on the second level doing this that he finally asked to see badges. which means tome why didnt he ask questions initionally,whenthey first showed, because he knew the po were coming in the first place.
so what did he do that the police were gonna come is my question.
number 2 he quickly blurbs in his story that he threw a drink shaker acrossthe wall and this is what the police filed as assault on an officer. well the trth is nobody except him his father and his half unconcious mother were in the place when this happened. so how do we know he didnt throw that damn shaker at the cops?
anyways a beating is not worthy for any of this. and a beating should only be given out when needed. but like i said who knows what actually went down in there. maybe thefather who seemed to be a lil forceful at first did something stupid, officer reacted to it. then buddy came over to protect his father by retaliating back and kaboom u got urself a rodney king beating
im gonna stop here because my goal is not to pick hisstory apart. my goal is to show u that 100% of stories are usually filled with 95% bull. twisted to make u see the persons point of viewand usually VERY exxagerated. |

Read the title: (This story is Faked), but a good one to make everyone believe and Vivid boy is right, too many loopholes and if something like that would be done it would be done for a reason. |

ah I zee what yur sayin' now.
While that's possible, I don't see why a local businessman would incriminate himself by telling lies either.
51 Division would be the only ones who can really dispell it for us since they took the body pictures of the victim.
Personally, I can't see that size of man even attempting a, "resisting arrest" charge... |

We obviously don't know how much of the story is true, but what kind of moron are you to just automatically say it's bull? A proper investigation could verify all kinds of information:
- The first half of his story starts out before he cleared the bar; therefore, there would have been many witness.
- The fact that he didn't ask for badges right off the bat means nothing whatsoever. How can you POSSIBLY infer that he knew they were coming? Moreover, he stated later that this was a routine during the Pride event, so even if he did "know" they were coming, it would not necessarily have been because of anything he specifically did.
- Most people panic and don't think about things like asking for a badge when confronted by police - and smart people know that asking a cop for his badge is signing a death wish, and would only do it if they were REALLY being on (as it sounds like he was).
- His 911 calls, if reported accurately, make no sense whatsoever. This could also be verified as they would have tapes of the phone call, and they wouldn't be able to just throw away the tapes because then there'd be a huge gap in their records.
- Most importantly of all, 51 division has been repeatedly incriminated in the past for this kind of behaviour, and I've got personal friends who have been through the same (though not as severe) experiences with that division.
Finally, the guy must know that he is taking a pretty big risk by going public with this information, since there have been a few reports in the past of people who complained about 51 division winding up dead a few weeks later. Of course, it was all hush-hush in the mass media, and again, we don't now if *those* stories were true, but they still ought to scare a person less from mouthing off unless that person really had nothing to lose.
None of this automatically makes it true, but it could easily be investigated, and that's all people are saying - not that the police should be hanged, but that there should be a formal investigation. |

Well what else would you call it?
People need to wake up to the fact that this stuff doesnt just happen somewhere else.
Look at how the government was caught stealing. Now look at this police action. Ive seen firsthand how corrupt the police are and how they abuse power so this story does not surprise me. I also know how gagged the media is by the legal system which the government controls.
Time to wake up. Things are not as they may seem. |
