it took me a long time to get to like kraut but I powered through the dislike

just like beer, wine, tomatoes, mushrooms, and coffee. All the more enriching. Except Olives. olives.

Well if you like that...maybe I can post more simple, cooking docs...seeing as Im a bacholor now:(

Those were ing good!....I had one, and its the most Ive eaten in a week:confused:

the beer makes it all taste so good. if you grill the onions a little before you put them in the beer, they'll get a bit sweeter. make sure to salt and pepper the onions. after a few minutes they'll caramelize a bit then toss them in the beer with the brats. then when you put them in the beer they'll get all soft and delicious with the sweetness of the onion and the added flavor of the beer. oh and it'll look a little more brown then what you have in your picture.

i usually eat it with dijon mustard only, no ketchup. i love ketchup, but for some reason i think a brat tastes best with just mustard and some of those onions. :D

Ya I coulda prepped the onions, but didnt want to. Im sure getting the onions sweeter would be great, I just didnt want to deal with it....and it was plenty good:toothless

Good luck with it....its rather yummy. Just remember to get buns/rolls that are thick. Otherwise they will tear and fall apart.
