OMFG what an awesome night...just got home and damn I'm tired. I will do a full review with tracklist (lucky my phone has a planner and datebook in it ;) ) later today after I get some sleep. I will say right now tho that this was my first time seeing G&D and I was BLOWN away. Awesome mixing and tracklist. And to top it off DaveT introduced me to them and got my pic with them outside after the show and both Dave and Josh are hella down to earth and were way chill. Anyways more to come.....
Actually it, I'll do my review and TL now:
We got to the club around 11:45pm and DJ Dan was on and actually doing a pretty good job. Nice trax full of energy and pretty good mixing. I even heard a classic in his set, Novy vs Eniac - Pumpin, along with some other great hard house tunes. Then around 1am G&D got on to setup and were having technical difficulties so Dan had to keep spinning and I must say during those 20mis of setting up, Dans trax blew and I was dying to hear G&D play. But of course they got the laptop setup to the sound system and Josh and Dave went at it. Needless to say the crowd went nuts and they absolutely brought it, track after track. I've seen a lot of djs spin and G&D have to be in my top 3 for live performances. The crowd was good and deffinitely full but not packed in to where you couldn't move. They did close the balcony early, about 2am, which blew. But still I had a great time. Highlights for me were Without You Near (one of my current favs), Alive (one of my all time favs), and Zocalo (PWNS IN THE CLUB). Thats all for now and DaveT thanks again for getting me upstage and also letting me meet Josh and Dave and get pics. Can't wait to see them posted. Anyways I cannnnnnnnot wait to see G&D live again.

Track 18 you have listed is by Mylo, and it's called "Drop The Pressure". It's a nice tune, rather chill and not too hard but danceable.
I wasn't there last night but I knew which song you were talking about. |

'twas there. the laptop was let down, the music was good but better toward the end, the crowd ok. that go go dancer was:eyes:
dj dan was pretty good, specially toward the middle of his set. does anyone know what thta song was with sirens. it said something about the dj and the dancefloor and emergency. it had also had a break down |

While G&D did have a couple issues setting up the laptop, they still started on time. DJ Dan's and G&D's timeslots were pushed back by a half an hour, so G&D's 1:30 start time was on cue.
Anyhow, they also played...

Southern Sun was the "Gabriel & Dresden Unplugged Mix" I believe.
A great time as usual. OK, I had a ing blast! Whoot.

| Gabriel & Dresden + Ruby Skye make a great combo, although I was kind of disappointed with the size of the crowd towards the end. Those guys are musical geniuses and they've put on a hell of a show every time I've seen them. Can't wait for the next show! |

| Their set was awesome and so was the crowd. Everytime I go to see Josh and Dave they always have time to bull with me, they are awesome. I couldn't believe how cool DJ Dan was either. When we were talking he said he did not like trance that much but he said he loved G&Ds set and he actually stayed the whole time. Both sets were great and Josh, Dave, and Dan are all great guys!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Ruby Skye as a venue and with it's new EAW Avalon sound system is pure bliss. It's just the crowd that can ruin things sometimes. |
