Great party! Got there at 12:30 to find that they were turning away people at the door. I was thinking, "This is gonna be a packed house", but there was plenty of room once we got in. Looks like there's one club in New York that actually does follow the fire code... and ohhhh what a club it is. The place is intimate and sexy and, like everyone said, the sound system is incredible. It sounds great on the dancefloor and is directed in such a way that you can actually talk while you're off the floor at the bar or on the couches. Plus, there's absolutely no ringing in the ears.

Zabs was awesome as always. Funky, electro, and robofied - what more could you want? Plus he played a song with star wars samples. That's right! STAR WARRRS! He was throwing effects over and looping Vader's breathing. Wooooooo! Zabs was on for a solid 3.5 hours with the final bonus half hour consisting of a whole bunch of tracks off Utilities and that Plump DJ's version of Higher State of Consciousness... acid death...

Crowd was great too - polite and mature. Everyone was feeding off Zabi's energy - lots of dancing, lots of smiles - everyone just enjoying a great dj's work...

Always nice to see some familiar TA's. It's been a while! :toothless
