well i definitely got in my fair share of trouble as a kid and was a little ******...and my dad let me have it...
but punching kids in he face though is a little different and excessive...i see little ******s all the time, but that doesn't mean i go and kick their ass just because i'm bigger than them... |

u probably don't know what tough love is, but i really think more kids need it these days.

Tx, Orbax. Case in point, when my youngest was in Jr. High, him and a buddy acosted another kid. His buddy beat the hell outta the other kid. Cops were at my house and arrested my son, same evening. They dropped charges and let my son go because he wasn't directly involved and because as he said, "I didn't need to help beat up the kid because my friend was doing a good enough job of it." His buddy got put in a Youth Diversion Program though for 4 months. I talked with him and his mom there about it, because my #2 son was in there for drugs at the time...
She was extremely worried at the time that the parents may sue her because they came from a wealthy family and had already called her up and threatened her. She ultimately gave them $500 to settle off line.

As for what bse did, I don't condone it completely, but at the same time, if you dont put someone in their place, they will continually take the piss.
Having been mugged by a gang of teenagers earlier in the year, I dont really give a if they are 'only 16', they shouldn't let their mouths write cheques that their bodies can't cash. |

well since neither of us know about the others childhood i'd say that's a pretty bold statement...one that i won't make as well...
but there are a lot of little ******s out there, but its the same as when we were kids...uh oh...don't look now jamie...we're becoming our parents :eek: :nervous:
i just look at b.s.e. and yes i'm making a lot of assumptions, but i'd say he's still a little ****** himself and he never grew out of it. i just think some of us around here still have a little growing up to do. |
