I think that's a DJ game for the PS2..
I have been mixing with Virtual DJ for ages and for me there's no program better. At least, not without external hardware. Been willing to try that for some time now.
But the real benefit of Virtual DJ is that you can see the waveforms of the 2 seperate tracks on top of eachother so you can beatmatch without even listening to the music.
I know, it's not really like the real thing, but if you just want to make clear nice mixes of some tracks you like (like me), then it's the best program you can get.
Sometimes it's a bit unstable though, when you kill the bass of one track and than suddenly put it back in again, the program stalls for a second or so, which can be extremely anoying when recording a set.. However this just happens very rarely.
Oh yeah: little tip: Get the skin "Mixstation SV", that one features two little nudge wheels on each deck which are extremely handy, in the original skin you will have to nudge by pressing <-- and --> , which isn't that accurate. |

Sorry to bump an old thread. Does the virtual DJ overlap the sound waves in the visual similar to Atomix? If so do they make a Mac version.
I just got a new laptop and Atomix doesn't make a Mac version. :( |
