good conversation to me has to either make me laugh, or make me learn something (talk about a current event, or your job if it's interesting). i also like to talk about favorite movies or music and travelling.

i think our main problem is that most guys say the right thing at the wrong time. meaning, we may try and go for a deep. meaningful conversation and come off as weird, or boring, because that wasn't the right time for it, she wasn't in the mood for it. or, we may try to be funny and mess around, and even though we get a couple laughs, we come out as 'crazy', or 'immature'.
that's why i just refrain from talking at all and just post online.... |

| good conversation, for me making me feel at ease and ability to make me laugh . don't patranise me and critise me. i'm quite shy but once i feel at ease im quite chatty etc and stuff.. |

It's about humour, and making someone feel comfortable while talking.
What I really hate is boys showing themselves off towards you: 'Look at my muscles', 'I've kissed 20 girls', 'I drive a BMW'...... |

| I agree with you guys when you say its all about humor. I have a great sense of humor and I love a guy who makes me laugh. Music and traveling is also good, and yes taking about ex's is bad. Criticizing anyone at all in a convo is bad to begin with. |

which brings us to an even bigger problem...that men need to take the time to figure women out and know when a good time for convo A. or convo B. to take place is.
but the chances of this happening are slim to none.
