I'm planning to go on a trip somewhere this August with my girlfriend but don't know exactly where to go. Actually, we have no idea.
First we though Japan, but then something happened and we can't go there. Next we thought about Orlando, Florida.. but there's a chance for hurricanes to pop up (is it a pretty big chance?).
So, what's a good place to visit? Trip would be for 1-2 weeks, shouldn't be too crazy of a location, and we're coming from Toronto.
Thanks for any idears ohoho |

We want to fly somewhere, and not have to rent a car.. so just a small area is okay to stay around. Doesn't have to be a touristy area, just something different. Beaches and ocean are nice.. in the middle of a big city.. doesn't really matter. But somewhere that looks beautiful is definately preferred :D
Looking to spend around $1,500 CND per person for flight and accomodation.
I've been to Ontario, New York State, Virginia, Florida, California.. never left north america. She's been to Japan, England, and Ontario. Could go somewhere one of us has already been though. |

| Go to Aruba. Some nice beaches and great people. Heard it's haunted though. That would just make it better! |

Ok then I would pick a european city in France, Italy, Spain, Greece, or the Netherlands. I've always wanted to check out the Mediterranean (take me with you!). Europe has a good public transportation system unlike the US so it should suit your needs. |

Maybe a little out of your budget but August in Ibiza = Teh Chron...
If not, my recommendation is the Netherlands, check out a decent portion of the country too, not just Amsterdam. Rotterdam and Utrecht are both nice, I have family in Leiden so it's always been nice to visit there...
I pretty much just love that country, and you could do it for a decent price... |
