Baseball, Softball to removed from the 2012 Olympics

the committee has dropped baseball and softball as events in the 2012 summer olympics ..
they are thinking of replacing them with golf, rugby, squash, karate, or roller sports ...
all i have to say is :wtf: ..
they have just removed the second most popular sport (behind futbol of course) ..

Lets be real here folks no one watches Baseball in the Olympics. Come on now. Softball sucks too the US are like the only team that wins.
Also why isnt Golf in the Olympics? It seems to me that would be a perfect sport for it because all of the different nations golfers. Oh my god that would be so good. |

but it's pretty strange how baseball is the second most popular sport in the world, yet no one wants to watch it during the olympics .. :conf: ..
if that's the case, then how would the world baseball cup do when all the countries compete against each other ? |

| they removed this gay baseball thing and also refused the 6 or 7 other sports that wanted to join (karate 7 players rugby golf rollerblades and some other ) |

ok anyways I dont like hating on sports
dodgeball is actually an excellent idea!
but too bad they said that they will not replace em with new sports
Leopold yes its wierd that nobody watches olympic baseball, thing is people dont watch olympic soccer that much either, reason bein people dont feel like seeing youth games.Maybe if the media hyped it into our heads like they do to College football, maybe theyd watch lol.
They never showed any baseball games here and Im sure in any other country(that wasnt participating), so what was the point i guess.And softball sucks.
People usually watch the olympics to see they normally dont watch, our baseball season is sooo long its like bah olympic baseball , yawn , oh look TEAM HANDBALL!
The Baseball World Cup on the other hand the people will watch, because itll be the best Pro players in the world going at it.
And yea basketball is more popular than baseball in the world obviously. |

i guess i am wrong ..
i always thought basketball would never upstage baseball as the second most popular sport in the world, because baseball would always have latin america, japan, the koreas, and taiwan producing and playing baseball outside of north america ..
i guess the basketball phenomenon in europe, asia, and parts of south america is growing faster than i have thought . |
