What's up with all this bombing in London? Looks like we may be at war even. Most folks can't fathom the fact. Bottom line is that the War on Terrorism is a damn war. Too bad it's been relegated to Page 6 news until folks at the homeland start getting killed...

Don't doubt it. Look back on last 6 months and see where the war stories were; Iraq and Afghanistan. That's what I'm talking about complacency. The war can trigger back home in a heartbeat and folks get alarmed when the 's been ongoing for months and years elsewhere.

Glad you woke up and realized the terrorists can attack your homeland instead of the run of the mill suicidal acts in Iraq. They do, in fact, have some pretty smart guys on their side besides the idiots with TNT strapped on them and they have the wherewithal to hurt us...

yep, bush is always trying to make the case that the war in iraq is helping us in the war against terrorism, which is obviously not the case. Its serving as a great recruitment tool for the terrorist. Just imagine if we used all that man power and billions of dollars we spent in Iraq on an anti-terrorism global task force or on development projects that fostered good will towards america. I know its not as sexy as kicking ass in meaningless war. |
