I just recently bought some GSR blades and one of the rims are darker than the rest.... it looks like some brake dust or composite settled in a little too long on the rim and is pretty hard to get off... just wonderin if you guys have any input on gettin the rim clean and get this crap off..... any insight is greatly appreciated..... thanks
can i wetsand it? or will that ruin the rim....?

LOL dont wet sand dude.
You can get a scouring pad though and some cleaner/degreaser. You can get both at Autozone or AAP.
Make sure you get a PLASTIC scrub pad...for obvious reasons. And the best cleaner I use is Simple Green. Spray the cleaner on your wheels, let it sit for a minute...then scrub it off. Make sure you have water handy to wash the rim after youre done.
Once youve "cleaned them" and are thoroughly clean..wax them. Wax helps keep the luster and protects them from brake dust buildup and other dirt.
Why did you buy ty rims dude? If your rims are beyond cleaning, my solution wont work. It should though. I dont know why someone would have an Acura and let it go to like that. |

| there is a castrol spray cleaner product. I cannot remember what it is called, but it works wonders. Try that. It is made for automotive work too. |
