Marco V Review!!!

Ok I know this is a little late but here it goes....
After I say goodbye to everyone at Heaven it was time to head over to Avlon to catch Marco V at Red.
I get there a little after 1:30 and Marco V was all ready on! But man he was palying some hard Tracks. And that is how it was the whole night. He just banged it out! But there was something diffent about his set though from the last time I saw it at Spundae. He was all most crossing the line of playing some hard house (imo) HARD HOUSE!!!!:nervous: But every track was really hard. Just not the Marco V I remeber.
I brought my Loops and Things Record with me so he could sign it. I held it up for him to see and he gave me a thumbs up. :D
My Friend hooked me up with a pass to get on Stage. So I used it to get Marco V to sign my record and to take some pictures. :D
I ran into a lot of Friends at Red. I also ran into other club hoppers like myself ;) And everyone seemed to having a really good time. But the music wasn't really doing it for me. Some tracks Marco V played had me dancing my ass off some of them where just too hard for my taste. But non the less I stayed untill after 3:30!!! :eyes: since I was having so much fun dancing with my Friends!

I missed a good chunk of the set because we were in another part of Avalon for an hour or so, but then we went up behind Marco for the last 45 minutes or so and it seemed like he was playing some interesting stuff. He definitely has his own unmistakable sound.
Overall, I think the musical format for the entire evening was just not my flavor, as I was expecting more trance and got a lot of house which took me back in time about 10 years. The crowd had an interesting energy though, and I think Marco's set was definitely a bright spot in the evening. |

were you in the spyder club? if you were how was it? i've been trying to get in there but no luck, seems so hard to get inside there. |

I was actually downstairs in the basement during much of Marco's set. We went to the afterhours upstairs later as well in the atrium area, where the music was quite good, and then walked around in the Spider, where there was yet another party, although it was hip hop so we just sort of checked it out and then left. |

Hmmm...I was a bit gone by then so I never bothered to find out. The party in the Atrium was great though. Loads of familiar faces you see at the clubs in town and great music...and great faces. :) |
