Auto Dealer Decals

Don't you just hate it when you buy a car and you get a free license plate on the front of your car and a friggin' decal on the rear quater panel for Joe's Carlot in Bum, Alabama?
First to go is the front license plate like a frisbee. Next is their friggin' decal. A Razor blade and WD-40 works just fine.... I figure if they want me to advertise their car lot after ing me royal with a commission, then they can pay me a commission as well to advertise. The next time I buy one, I will demand they remove the plate and decal themselves before I drive it off of their damn lot...

yeah i always take that stuff off my car. i was too lazy though to take the license plate bracket off this time though so it's still on there. i never used a razor though, just peeled it off with my fingernails and buffed it up.

same thing with mine .. i bought my car from a car racing lot .. when i bought the car, it had racing logos and tags all over it ..
i bought my car for cheap, because the car racing lot didn't want the car anymore .. the driver messed up the board on the bottom, and the company didn't want to pay to fix it .. other than that, the engine and wheels were fine .. so i got a good car for cheap .. it's just the board under my car is messed up .. haven't had the chance to fix it yet .. and it has been 4 years .. :rolleyes: |

You mean the Geo Metro... Actually it was a buddy's new Chevy 4x4 Pickup. I got a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ford Ranger myself last year. Did the same my own self....

some dealers put and actual metal/plastic embossed thing on theirs and make sure that it's pretty hard to take off:\
better tell me someone, how to remove that ugly on your visor about death, airbags and babies? |

Cover the death warnings with 100MPH tape. Disable the f*cking alarm that says you ain't wearing a seat belt either (Hint: unplug it under the seat).

i actually buckle up every time (after the crash i was in), so i never hear the alarm:). but about the visor... what tape are you talking about? |

| It's funny you mention this... Just today i was telling my neighbor to take that crap off. In CA it's a sin for a dealer to even THINK about doing that. Me personally i would rather pay $500 more then to have one those damn decal on. I see sometimes when they remove it that the logo still bleeds through. |
