yeah I like Avro :P
as far as the popular american jets, the f14 and 15 are so old and loud gas hogs. the f16 is pretty sleek and sweet. but for somereason the f18 is the best all round fighter in my opinion. best bang for the buck if you will.
the new planes like the yf 23 is amazing but probably wont be used too often. |

dont think the yf 23 will ever see combat.
it was built at the same time the f22 was, and the f22 was chosen over it. |

It may be ugly, but that GAU-8 Avenger is the sweetest aircraft mounted cannon ever. Goddamn 30mm spent uranium rounds. Pure kinetic destruction. |

This one is going nowhere...it's been in "planning" since forever :(....however a top secret project coming from MIG is more interesting...it doesn't even have a name yet...just some number value...i'll try and find it...
And that is a wicked picture of Israeli F15s ;)....i'll find you something better though ;) |

This past year i created a WWII documentary. My group focused on the airforce. We went to see the avro lancaster...we not only got a tour inside the magnificent plane but we were also able to interview two world warII veterans. As we sat there XL2 on the tripod,and a 3 handheld GL2's, holding up light stands and reflectors we were able to listen to the stories and memories of these two amazing men. The amazing thing is i was able to bring their stories to life and on remembrance day our documentary was shown on TVO as a special presentation...the next sunday we were priviledged to recieve a second time slot ... our mission was to get these stories out....let the youth of today have a taste of what it was like...through the eyes of the veterans.
so all in all...i think i love the avro lancaster...the end. |
