2006 World Cup Recommendation

Hello my German friends. As you all know your country will be hosting the World Cup next year and I am planning on attending. Now it's impossible to attend every venue, so instead I'm thinking about just seeing matches in two/three locations that are close to each other. I'm thinking about:

Hamburg & Hanover
Gelsenkirchen & Dortmund
Cologne, Frankfurt, & Kaiserslautern
Nuremberg, Stuttgart, & Munich
or
Berlin & Leipzig

I'd rather go to a group of cities that really doesn't have a big city feel to it and where I will be able to interact with more native Germans. So that eliminates Berlin & Leipzig. And I also want to be in the city with the hottest chicks.

So since you guys know your country, which cities do you think I should spend my time in???

Thanks for the help.
TomTom
If you don't want a big city feel to it, you can't go wrong if you visit Kaiserslautern. It´s a small city with an awesome football stadium and people are pretty nice there. A lot of citizens speak English because there are many air bases around the town so you will surely have a good time there. As you might have guessed, I was born there and lived in Kaiserslautern for many years. :p

Did you get tickets in advance? I don't know anybody who was able to get tickets for any Games so far, including myself. :whip:

If you don't have tickets, it will most probably be pretty hard to watch some of the Games in case you can't spend 500 Euros on the black market to get some tickets this way.

I pre-ordered them from the US Soccer Association for US games, but I can still return them and get tickets for other venues.

Visit the true stadium of power, party and mood, the Arena AufSchalke @ Gelsenkirchen!!! The girls are already waiting for ya ;) Be careful of the city next to Luedenscheid (Dortmouth), its girls only want your money :D And if you visit their stadium be careful, everyone could hear you choke, because it's so quiet :stongue:
