i agree with xtractorfan, harry potter is awesome. i remember it helped kill a few days of our intersemester break about a year ago where i went on a reading mission, stopping ocassionaly for something to eat and if i had to go twosies. onesies was done through an intricate network of hoses and funnels leading to god knows where
did anyone ever read the bourne trilogy by robert ludlum in high school? they all over the movies, doing no justice to what was a fine piece of work. in the last book you forget all about the fact that this bourne guy is nearly 60 years old and killing people whilst copping a whaling wherever he goes, awesome, just awesome |

Yeah man the novels by ludlum were fantastic! I think he died before finishing the last one so another author took over the series.
Never watched the movies... |

yeah eric van lustbader took it over......i have to say, it is far too action movie like. nothing like the subtle storyline progression of ludlum, and even though the stuff he does is outlandish by both authors, ludlum makes it believable |

firstly, magic is meant to be cool. not some f'n joke exercised by 10 year olds to play ing sport. its a discipline that requires years of training, and doesnt let you do whatever you want coz you have a wand.
the 1st book of hers is a literary disgrace. the grammar is e and the storyline is abysmal. fantasy for children doesnt have to be childish.
the whole idea of lil wizards on broomsticks is f'n laughable.
harry potter is a piece of excrement. aside from making children pick up books, it has done nothing but trivialise the fantasy genre. |
