Track names these days

I can't help thinking that track names are gradually becoming staler by the day.
Take for instance, Way Out West's 'Don't Forget Me' . it's an ok name to say the most but, thats not what i'm getting at.
Interstate's new track is titled 'Remember Me' . Whats with the forget-me-not trend these days?
I think artists should invest a little extra time in thinking up imaginative and more unique track names.

Agreed, good thread...
laurent veronnez aka airwave released a vinil with two tracks:
"why" and "because" cus the lack of names...

I just read about oliver lieb wanting people send by mail suggestions in track names...

other example I remember now:
david forbes - answers
david forbes - questions must be asked

;)
Project 7
Luminary - Herbert
Luminary - Forget Me
RebeL9
i thought everyone was naming their tracks Shivers and stuff

what i want to know is, why is everybody using "presents" in artist name area.

so and so pres. mr. x - shivers

are they alternate personas of the orginal artist? and if so, why dont they just title that track as being by who ever is presented?

intead: mr. x - shivers? like the good old days
PlasticSoul
Ah, I forgot mention the tons of tracks named...
eternity, heheh...
:P

I usually don't care about tracks that's called "Forget Me" and stuff like that. I've only noticed a few good tracknames, My favourite of 2005 is Mirco de Govia & Ronski Speed - Asarja.

I guess it's a co-work of a track when producers use stuff like presents, Just guessing though.

i dont know are you mad b/c trance producers arent basing there trance on music designed for rolling and dont have words pushing the envelope like "overdrive" or "insane asylum" or "trance and acid" or all somewhat drug related or some psycho induced trip enhancing name. i dunno. i think that names are actually a little more tasteful now a days and not too barbaric. uhh shivers like when you peak you get shivers lol i dunno i just think its pretty obvious what the producers used to get their track names from.

If it's "A and B pres. C - Track" then it's because it's a new collaboration alias for two producers (probably because it's their first time working together).

If it's "A pres. C - Track", then it's most likely because an artist needs to use an alternate alias to sign with a different label. The "A pres." part would catch peoples attention because of the name of a more established alias being on the title.

And for producers who have all these unoriginal names, it's because either they have no imagination, or they are making too many tunes to have good names for. :p

As mentioned above, but to put it more accurately, the word presents is not becaus of a trend but because the artist is 'presenting' a new alias/guise (collaboration or independent)
Mr.Mystery
The track titles are usually as exciting as the tunes.

Not very.
