yeah i thought i saw some cops there so i'm pretty sure they made them shut it down. thats why the satellite ended so abruptly as well. it was cool they played it cause it is their track but i've heard it so many times its way old. |

yea were here visiting some friends, it ended up ok we went to a bar down the street instead , some sports bar was good times...... we'll see A&B at guvy till 8am neways on sat :toothless |

Well, from an x-Bostonian's point of view. The city itself is gay and the securities at Avalon Boston is even worst. I remember one time I went to see either Armin or some other big name there at Avalon, when the set was over at 2am, the securities turn on the lights and the crowd was chanting one more, one more.. then the DJ was about to pop in an encore track. Little does he know, the securities was dragging the DJ out the door. |

not for nothing but damn that sucks bout not letting you in with canadian IDs. and the whole deal about cutting tracks short at 2am, PVD encored with Arolla - Dreaming (percussion remix) and right at the vocal break down, they made him turn it off. I'm sorry but any venue, city, or establishment that makes an artist (world reknown) cut their set with less than 10mins left of the track, should be a valid excuse NOT TO PLAY there anymore, yet for some reason they still keep going to Boston to play?
It's like the NYPD shutting down Pink Floyd or U2 @ madison square garden cuz one of them was smoking on stage? I'm sorry but when laws apply and are not flexible, that usually turns people off to the city.
Why do I want to go to boston to hear a DJ play a SHORT SET, have to leave the club by 2am and potentially have the encore track cut off - not to mention the ENCORE coming on around 2am? Just not my cup of tea, and I'm sure alot of Boston Fans will argue the fact that it's what they get and they have to deal with they have. I dunno, for me, it doesn't do justice. Not $30+ to leave a place at 2am, just can't do it. |
