I noticed earlier on in the week that there was no roll call for this event... so it MORE then deserves a review thread!!!!! :D
I am not gonna make this overly long, but seeing you guys was an amazing night out!
Andrew...for the first time seeing you spin.. you did an effn wicked ass job!! I got there just as you had been on for about 10 min.. and from there on in I just couldn't stop dancing.. you had the crowd just going.. Thank you!!
Dennis... as always.. amazing night full of energy...after coming off Andrew's set.. it was good to hear you pump out Smells Like Teen Spirit (BT Remix)... that just kept the crowd going... that is one of my fave tracks played in a club and it also brought me back to the first time I ever heard Armin drop that track!! It is always great to have you spin in the PR.. keep up the good work and we will see you next month! PS. Bring Andrew back with ya ;)
Altogether it was a wicked night and a really good TA turnout since the big event was happening at Viva tonight...well for all you who weren't at PR.. You missed the big event :D
And to all you TA's.. great partying with you again! I haven't seen a few of you out in awhile.. it was wicked! :happy2:
Now time for munchies and bed... thanks to Andrew and Cam.. I'm stoned :wtf: |

Bah. Jenn, I'm the one who's suppose to start the PR review threads. ;)
Andrew, who gave you permission to kick that much ass without permission? I swear, this guy was toying with the crowd, dropping pretty much whatever he wants and still keeps the crowd grooving. A nice blend of trance, techtrance and techno. This was the IMHO best NuERA gig so far. (Jenn, he spun at the Vault at least a few times) Heck, if you keep this up, you might start your own groupie like Dennis. :D (You know what I'm talking about) ;)
Dennis, it's good to know that you've done your share to keep the scene alive and growing in the KW area. Never a dull moment with you spinning.
Both of you are now to blame for my aching right knee. I was trying my hardest to keep my ass planted on the seat because I know that I could aggravate the damage to my knee if I dance too much, but the beats were so good that I couldn't help it. :whip: :D Well, I don't really blame you two; I knew what I was getting into. :D

PS: I was wondering where was that crazy Vietnamese old man at 11. He showed up at 11:15 and everything was 'normal'. He's so funny to watch, all drunk and high on something and hitting on virtually every girl. (Ok, not funny if you're a girl)
PPS: Some TAs when drunk are really amusing to observe. (You know who you are!) Carl, you trying to dance with Andrew's vinyl bag was the funniest thing I've seen in months!
PPPS: Next month at PR is another TA, Tygon (aka Tim). I hope Rev has good insurance because Tim and Dennis will ing destroy the PR. It's got my stamp of guarantee on it.;)

Frist of all, awsome night. Its rare i get drunk when i go out to a club.....rare as in havn't done it before :S lol
much respect to all the TA's that showed up. Had a great time with the London Ladies and then everyone else.
Few things:
Tune of the night, the Astrix track Andrew Dropped (never seen as much energy as i had in the PR before)
Dennis: Killer again as per usual
Cale: I made up for you, Jason got me a drink, then mada did when Jason showed up with the next....so double fisting Smirnoff Ice's ;)
Looking forward to next month. I thought it was me, but if tim's playing :) good stuff. Well be there as always

Last night was so awesome I dont even know where to start!
I left work in Etobicoke around 10:15 and went straight to Waterloo. Got there 11:30ish and made my way into the PR. Andrew had just started when I got there and I saw Dan and some other TAs right off the bat. Holy Andrew you rocked man. I was gonna cry when you threw in some psy. I havent jammed so hard in AGES! I was such a sweaty bastard!
As usual Dan got drunk and danced up a storm :p
Dennis continued the ass kicking with Smells Like Teen Spirit and a Blue Monday mix. Awesome evergy in the room!
I left with Jen and Andrew at 2:30 and we smoked a nice L shape in the parking lot. Then I made my hour long drive home :D
Jen this was our first time really hangin out at an event and I had a blast. :D
Andrew thanks again man. Great freakin set!

This was definitely the best Purple Room I've been to. Andrew played an amazing set, full of energy. Then, after that, I was especially impressed with Dennis' set -- a seamless mix of harder tunes and more epic stuff. I especially enjoyed:
- Inner Stories - Beyond
- Andy Moor vs. Above & Beyond - Half A Life
Requests for next time:
- Eluna - Severance (Markus Schulz mix) -- can't find this anywhere
- Markus Schulz f. Depature - Without You Near
Keep it up! I'll have to come out to more of these! :D |
