the decision to go to montreal to see Deep Dish was made at 2 am last night...totally last second in nature

got to montreal at 4:00... at some food and then off to Aria by 4:30...noone in lineup outside at that point...got into the club in 3 minutes...only $40 at the door....

the party was bumping to the sounds of Dean Coleman...he played pretty well for the part that I heard from him

Sharam came on and began with a great opening track......but I was somewhat disappointed in his track selection.... not enuf banging tunes IMO

at 7:30, buddy and I decided to call it a night. but as we were leaving the main room, there was a bouncer blocking the stairs saying that we could NOT leave because the cops were upstairs. Everyone was getting kinda pissed and this continued for about 15 mins before a second bouncer told us that we could leave from the exit located behind the DJ booth. Thank God for that guy helping us..otherwise we would have been there longer than we wanted to

one question remains......WHERE THE HECK WAS EVERYONE? I looked around all over for any TA's, but saw noone. No Taha, No Louis, No anyone. Oh well....next time i suppose! ;)

I had a in awesome time...I thought Dean Coleman was great, he had some sick hard beats, I couldn't stop moving!

Then Sharam, I thought he was pretty good. The beginning and middle of the set I found were very strong, amazing beats...he had the crowd in the palm of his hand...But towards the end he kind of lost my attention, seemed like he ran out of ideas...I stayed till the very end though, fkin wicked set overall. I loved the Speed of Sound remix!!! Song of the night for me.

Good to see Shawn and Jesse partyin hard as always....and nice to finally meet Tag and Lopitrance!

I'd say overall it was a great night! Such great music, at times I couldn't even bring myself to leave the dancefloor for anything!

I was going to ask the same thing - just got work from some people there and give the details....

I think the bigger question at hand is how someone can sneak a GUN in the club. Hip hop people and edm people may be on different floors but we all go through the same security. I'd love to hear Louis'/Biggy's explanation as to what went wrong both with security and with the reported shooting...

I liked Deep Dish, brought back some faith in house for me...

Flashdance remix was good.

Say Hello was great.

The coldplay song was sick.

etc etc

But sadly I got tired towards the end and was having a hard time partying :(

Too bad Tag and I didn't get to meet up with Fast, although I think we may have crossed paths near the bathroom at some point cause I heard someone say "something something, a little too hard eh Taha?" Then when I looked no one was there so I could have just been imagining it completly.

Either way, pretty decent night for me, hope everyone else enjoyed it aswell.

hahahaha that wasn't me simply because I COULDN'T GET IN ! we went Epicurus and i at 5:45 and sadly the cops were already there doing their thing, no one could get in :( but we still had a great time meeting two nice ladies who knew their house music, i was amazed !! we chilled with them from 6 am till 10:30 or something talking about music, djs, parties, and other life things. it made my day :)

trust me, these two ladies know more about the scene than most of you n00blars in here :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
