So here is what I know so far about the shooting at Aria
If Taha was NOT able to enter Aria at 5:45.....it is safe to assume that the shooting happened before that time
Also, I know that my friend and I were sitting upstairs inside the Hip Hop room until about 5:05 am....funny thing is that he mentioned off hand that he thought something was gonna happen up there... very prophetic words actually
so now I can deduce that I barely missed the shooting...thank GOD
I lived to tell my tale to my kids.....wohoooo |

no I did not see malek...wen kenet oula?? it was this guy from nightparties who took pics(heended up sleeping on the caouch around 7am...mmm very professional)

I was in the hip hop room with a friend of mine, cuz some other people I know were in there...And I was just getting a terrible vibe in there, and I actually told my friend man let's get the hell out of here before we get shot! I said it pretty jokingly, just because that room was FULL of sheisty ones...but not 20 minutes later when I was in the techno room, someone came up to me and told me someone just got shot in the hip hop room! I just missed it also.

When I saw a blondie in the booth I figured it might be you Layloula! Wasn't sure though, since I've never actually met you...lol
Looked like you and Sharam were having a good time together though hehe....
And the Coldplay song definately made the night...Killed any other remix of Speed of Sound I'd ever heard. Great night! I really have to get my hands on that set! |

I've heard that what happened at Aria isn't as big of a deal as everyone is making out to be. I havent heard anything as to whether anyone got shot or not, or if it was even a gunshot. Some say firecrackers. Who knows??

No one even got hurt? I heard someone got shot in the arm...Guess it was pure rumours though....
So Taha you couldn't even get in....AND they blocked off Aria and St Denis street...for NOTHING? That's ridiculous...
I wonder if there's even any evidence that a gun was fired...of if it was just the sound that caused all the commotion. |
