Oakenfold in Philly Review

Saw Oakie and Liquid Todd in Philly at Emerald City on Saturday...Liquid Todd is awful. Boring track selection. Oakie played some good tracks but there was absolutely no flow to it. It was all over the place and his version of mixing was a joke.
The best set of the night was by DJ Scribe who was on in the main room when I got there at about 11:30. He played some version of Silence I never heard before. I think he said it was the Technical Mix? Overall it was a lot of fun even though it was about 1000 degrees inside. It really helped that they had the back lot open. Anyone else make this show? |

I was there I think, right? LOL, just kidding. I agree with you 100%. Oakey wasn't great, liquid todd sucked, and who knew that the best set of the night would have been from DJ Sribe (Who spun a fantastic set). I'm glad that you decided to come out and play with all of us. |

Hey I was just curious if anybody took any pics at this event (he skipped over it on his website)? I definately agree with everyone's reviews, but the man is still one of the reasons I got into trance in the first place, and we had fun dancing, so it would be cool to have a memento...
