anyone know how to change your ip address?
a website has disabled me accessing it, cos ive downloaded over the maximum amount. |

only your isp can do that, unless you have a dynamic IP but even then you usually end up gettin the same IP. Are you on dialup or broadband? If you get a new IP you should be ok, unless you were really bad and they banned the whole subnet (those bans are allways fun).
either way if you use a proxy you can bypass the ban. |

| yep use steganos internet anonym Pro 7 or 8....it works well and they won't know who you are ;) |

depends what ban mask they have set... they could ban your whole ISP.. or even just the IPs in your subnet range ( a select group of IP addresses)...
The best way to change your IP address is to disconnect your modem... wait a bit... then jump back on... The server should allocate you a new IP address |

| hmm static IP...call up Telstra and see if they can give you a new one. Might cost you a little bit. |
