besides having to wait in a seperate line that wont necessarily be shorter than the line of people waiting to buy tickets there...
what is this service charge nonsesne? $40 at the door, $35 online + $5.28 service charge? (for PvD)

well, ie. spirit guestlist is $25, if you buy the ticket at satellite its $22. but yeah, if you have no other reason to goto satellite, i dont really see a point just to save 3 bux.. it probably cost you more than $3 to get there.

ever notice how the guestlist/advance ticket lines are longer than the paying at the door line? Did you ever think that you can tell the guy you are paying the door price while keeping your advanced ticket in your pocket? get your ID checked go past them and walk in like you are paying the door fee then whip out your ticket and walla you've successfully passed the long line and duped the club into thinking they've got a fool who will pay full price...crobar done it before!

hm iono...i wasnt aware that the guestlist/adv ticket vs. buying at the door were different lines. that only happened during pvd. whenever i go early its the same line at crobar. ::shruggs::

yeah when u buy thru ticketweb vs. satellite or go on guestlist, after a certain date its about the same price. when u buy thru a promoter its different though, and it depends on who ur buying it from sometimes its at least $5 off door prices. ferry i got hard tickets for $20 the night of, but then again, guestlist was $20 also i heard. so sometimes its worth it. other than that i wouldnt care how i got the tickets.

This is one of my pet peeves when it comes to clubbing. Advance tix cut down on the amount of work that they have to do at the door. The least they could do is move it along. Why people making financial transactions are going faster is beyond me.

Also, if there's not a separate line (like at Crobar), there should be. By getting advance tickets, we're doing them a service by allowing them to better prepare for the event by gauging how much interest there is so they can staff more bouncers, bartenders, etc. It'd be nice to have the favor returned by expdediting our entry.

I would only buy advanced for big events from now on. I got to DeepDish at 11:45 and waited for line close to 2 hours sat night, and they had no people in the Adv tix line. I seems like Crobar only creates a special line for Adv tix for major headliners.

I loved standing on the left line at Corbar on Friday night... yet continually watching that black guy pull random people off the line and letting them go on the right line. Pissed me off so much...

That guy cracks me up, he dresses like a pimp everytime, friday night he was hatless though. Yea he is so random with his selections, but usually he just picks out girls from the line and lets them right in.

He was picking groups of dudes though... Grrrr! It takes a lot to get me annoyed. But that came pretty close...

Yeah, he pulled my girlfriend and I into that line, along with a lot of other people, promptly at midnight, just in time for all of us to pay cover rather than get in for free. Really annoying when you get inside and it's nearly empty, yet you were made to wait 30 minutes outside just so that you had to shell out $20 that would have been better spent on drinks. We almost left because my girlfriend was so pissed about it.

They need a frequent clubber card or membership system for those of us that spend every weekend there and are loyal patrons.

that SUCKS! and hm i cant imagine xtina pissed. :( but what if you don't want to go out of the line, thats not FAIR! :whip: but anyway yeah that happened during Zabiela last year, a huge group including us got pulled out ten minutes before midnite, my friends were so *pissed *they left. i wasn't gonna get stuck out in the cold like THAT so i dropped someones name i knew who was workin in there so they let me go in. but it was still a crappy situation. i hate to hear that crobar is still doing that.
