so, who else hates looking for apartments as much as me?
actually, it's not so much the search for an apartment that's a bitch. it's the fact that i have to buy soooo much new stuff that i don't even think about - like garbage cans and can openers and mirrors and end tables and ziploc bags and random like that. Target shopping spree, here i come!
sorry, just felt like bitching about the fact that this is the 10th time that i'm moving in 3 years.
but at least it's for a good reason! :D |

| If you've lived in 9 different apartments already have you not accumlated a lot of that stuff already? Or maybe it's too far away to cart it all with you in which case :sadgreen: |

I don't know what Ikea you shop at, but the Ikeas that I have been to are not the same price as Target. |

| in all seriousness im nto sure. i dont shop. but i went and they had.. plats for 99 cents that look nice. glasses for 99 cents that look nice. forks etc for cheap. trashcans were like 10 bucks. etc. |

you guys are lucky youre in the states and everything you want is so easy to get because you have stores for anything you want with good prices.
im ed down here in costa rica, and only furnished my room so far...the apt was completely empty, not even stove, fridge, washer, dryer, nothing.. i had to buy everything..for twice the price. I.E my 21'' tv was like 250 usd. I could go to best buy and probably get somethign way better for that.
And then decorating is a bitch...u have no spencer's type of stores were u can go buy all this trippy for the room, posters, lava lamps, whatever..ill have to bring everything next time..
then the supermarket is ..american products cost way more..and they dont even carry a wide selection of them...
Weed is all american prized too..wtf..like $50 for an 8th of good ..you would hope it would be half the price considering youre in Costa Rica: Surfer/Stoner heaven..but i guess thats why the prices are so high..lots of demand.

yes the fruits do own..and latin american producs are cheap.
been living alone for only 7 months..and after being pampered for so long, well you know how it is! I do have a maid that does cooking and cleaning so thats pretty set.
a roomate would be cool..i do have an extra room i could rent out, but i would only roomate with friends from sivar so.. |
