Went to their gig at Alexandra Palace, London back in April of this year... was hands down the best live performance I've ever seen - truely brilliant... any EDM fan must go to see them live
bananas
they don't come to eastern/central europe :[

Live they are on par with the crowd interaction of The Streets.

But musically live as some of tere tracks are filler, it gets boring waiting for the killer (insomnia, god is a dj, tarantual, we come 1, muhammad ali.)

none the less a must see. :)

I too saw them in April on the Greatest Hits tour. They were really really special. The music was faultless, and they didn't just play it off the record. Every track was reconstructed to do damage live, and it paid off. Insomnia dropping live is absolutely immense. And I disagree Jake about the filler, I think I'd have collapsed if it'd all been anthemic. By the encore and Salva Mea I could hardly hold my arms up I was so knackered... then again I'd been paintballing all day. Still, gave them the chance to show off their more mature side, and demonstrate their musical talent. Drifting Away on guitars- spine tingling.

Faithless are awesome live. propably one of the best livebands out there atm.
if Michael Stipe from REM calls them "one of the coolest groups out there" then it must be good :)
dazton_2000
seen them three times now, once at privelage in ibiza in 2002, homelands in 2004 and brixton academy at the end of 2004. and everyone here is right.... the best live act i have ever seen!!!

especially salva mea!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????? amazing!!

Yeah, Faithless tracks do the most damage on a dancefloor. Absolutely brilliant composers, I don't think any group can unite both the energy & emotion in tracks quite like them.

I haven't seem them live :( Can quite easily believe it would be the best gig I could catch though!

imsomnia=the best ever from faithless
narcism
best band out there
if u get a chance to see them live you get to appreciate they are more than just maxi jazz and sister bliss
oh how i which i could play the bongo drums like sudha :eyespop:

as for the fill in tracks id have to disagree, depends what you go and expect from a live show, anthems or the full faithless experience...... how can u say the guitar riff from swingers is a filler track...... much respect to aubrey for it :D

The main reason why i probaly found the slower tracks boring was because kosheen were supporting. DnB to chilled out faithless outrospective album tracks was a shock to the system.

thats fair enough i suppose but you have to understand mazi jazz cant sing on every track, depending on the tour and which other vocalist they have, used to be zoe johnson and now its lsk. So they usually open up witha few instrumental tracks, not all the time tho ;)
