Yes, what happened was bad, but the circumstances are a little strange.... this guy comes out of a house that the police were surveilling, and he runs away from them, and he has a thick coat on?

That's something I'd like to know. Why didn't he obey the police and ran instead? :conf:

it happens mate, as bad as it sounds, i'd rather they shot 10 innocent people who they thought were going to be a threat than didn't shoot just one out of them and they end up killing people in an attack. sad really i know

But aren't there like.... non-lethal weapons to stop suspects?

Perhaps he was guilty of something else that he thought the police knew about? Drug use or somesuch?

at the end of the day, they said he wasnt linked to terror but im sure the police would have asked him to stop several times, and shot as a last resort. if he had nothing to hide he would have stopped right away and co-operated with the police. the police have to justify using their CS Spray, so they will be well informed of the implications of open firing in public.

It could also be related to his experiences with the police in slums (it seems he lived in one for a while), being a foreigner (we Brazilians don't really feel confortable abroad actually)... although if I were in his place I would've trusted the policemen because I really would like to know what the heck they were chasing me for.

But I reckon that, at least, things were less worse because it was one person, no matter how great this loss is, and not dozens of others again. That being said, I'm out.

Please catch please people alive, then torture them till they speak, the police forces cant do anything to prevent these attacks so information is cruical. It looks like they were trying to repeat the last bombing, tube & bus bomb's but fu&*ked it up. I hope there no Fatalities this time as that shiet really pisses me off.

Haven't you heard? We're all guilty muslim killers. :stongue:

This whole situation pisses me right off. Why is it that they feel the need to bomb London exactly? It doesn't make any sense. People come over to England to "escape persecution" and make a better life for themselves, and what do they do when they get here? Blow the place up.

I'm 100% with the police on this whole thing. They don't have nearly enough power as it is. And it pisses me off when something like this happens, and other muslims start whining and saying that the police weren't acting to take down a terrorist, but instead they were just randomly shooting muslims.

As soon as that happens of course, the government wimps out of taking action because some pillock will start crying that someone's human rights have been breached, or that "the white man is abusing the coloured man". It's all a crock of .

I bet if some christian fanatic blew up a Mosque or something in Iraq, the government there wouldn't think twice about shipping out anyone who wasn't of the national religion. But not here in england, oh no. Someone kills 50-odd people for no reason whatsoever, and says that if the police arrest them, or anyone questions their actions, that they're being racist. So nobody does anything.

Pile. Of. Wank.
