i got my tattoo last night!!!!!!
for the record...it's SO hard to take a pic of your own back...the bottom left seems lifted up because my arm was like up taking the pic...but hopefully it still looks decent. i took the pics w/ my webcam because the digital cam was just not having it.
what do y'all think?! |

the thick lines at the bottom hurt the worst...it definitely stings, but it's not too bad. |

it symbolizes a friend i had that died 2 years ago. i drew it the day after she visited me in a dream...i know that sounds weird, but she told me she was okay and i didn't need to worry about her, she was in a better place. it kinda symbolizes her rising up to that better place, whatever that may be. the middle lines w/ the dot on top are like hands lifting...i dunno if you can really understand what i mean, but it's pretty abstract. anyway it's just to commemorate her and the fact that life goes on...anything bad will just get better eventually...we'll be "lifted up" out of whatever hits the fan...and i've had a LOT of hit the fan in my life... |

thank you! the artist that tatted me cleaned the design up a bit, sharpened the edges. i am so happy with it, it looks so good! :) |
