Let me give you these two scenarios.
You live in a world where secret police can come and kill you and your family at any time. If you're lucky, youll get a bullet in the head, in the desert, but chances are you'll be tortured, perhaps in a human experiment, perhaps in a weapons testing. Your goods and home, your wife and children can be taken at any time, for any purpose, with no chance for you to say no.

Your family is safe from secret police, unless word that they wish to harm the occupying nation gets around, but your store has been blown up by a suicide bomber and your automobile was totaled in a battle between insurgents and the occupying army. The police aren't generally harmful to the unarmed and equally amiable. Insurgents have taken the land and fight citizens and occupying army alike, but you have the ability to buy a firearm and defend yourself. Money from the UN that was being siphoned off for years is finally trickling down to you.

I see your point,and it is valid,but the insurgents wouldnt be there in the first place if America didnt invade Iraq.you wouldnt get all the terrorists from the region to come to Iraq if Iraq was occupied by Americans.
I truly feel sorry for the Iraqi people,first they had to deal with Saddam and die from chemical bombs (given and made by Americans)and now their country is occupied for god knows how long and they bombs blowing up everyday. They just got ed over even more by this whole occupation imo.:( |

i think its an option, its in Al Qaeda's hands.
Ben Laden does something really stupid, tactical nukes take out mecca, medina and the dome in jerusalem, ... could be done in less than 24h. |

when i mean really stupid: someone detonates a nuclear bomb in the streets of an American city. Or a dirty bomb... catastrophic, hundreds thousands of deads...
You think the USA would let go of it without doing something drastic? Someone will pay for it. |

Hell no the USA wouldn't not do something drastic, but bombing holy muslim sites would make billions of people furious. It would be horrible. |
